Thanks for the idea bro.Been watching all your video. Can you also restore or clean other brands. Watching all the way from Philippines. Happy New Year
I’ve ordered all parts and followed the steps to set up the ice box. I sat 3 pairs in there and after 8 hours I don’t see any results. I’m thinking I may need a 1000w to 1200w.
Awesome tutorial man thank you! Just a quick question since you mentioned Jordan 5 netting. I have Angelus Sole Bright and have a pair of 2011 Jordan 5 Wolf Greys that need heavy icing on the outsoles and caging on tongue and sides, I’ve seen a couple video of this exact pair on TH-cam being unyellowed in those mentioned locations why do you suggest against it?
Hey I noticed on the newer Jordan 5s (2020 onwards) the cages tend to turn orange when you deoxidize them. I think they might be made differently now. Since your pair is from 2011 they should unyellow normally, but it’s best to be cautious.
Great tutorial, thanks for sharing! Do you have any experience with using UV LED-Strips instead of the grow light? They are much cheaper (5m / 300 LEDs ~25$ in Germany). I wouldnt mind if they take more sessions to get results, because I just need it for personal use and I just do regular white soles and no icy soles. But I would mind if they didnt work at all 😅😅
Hey boss, appreciate the video, I’ve ran into a problem, I made my first ice box and to say the least it works well. Problem is on a pair of my Jordan 5s I think they sat 2 long where the Saran Wrap isn’t coming off easy. Do you have suggestions how to remove this cause it’s been about an hour and I’m slowly pealing each piece starting to get frustrated
Hey boss, appreciate the video, I’ve ran into a problem, I made this exact setup and the pairs are not icing that well . Do they ice slower with more pairs in there ?
Hey, in a full unit the bottom row will still ice, but slower since it doesn’t have the direct light exposure. Soles with the heaviest wear should be on the higher levels. Lighter wear at the bottom. Depending on how worn your shoes are, it can take a long time to ice. I usually don’t go past 40-50 hours in total for icy soles.
You can. Place the lighter work at the bottom, heavier at the top. 2 lights is too much. More ventilation isn’t needed unless you plan to ice more than like 10 hrs.
@@picassoedftheglitch8344 i orderd a weed growing tent from temu its allready good to go you only need uv lights and if you wanna to 2 uv lights you should aply some fan or something that blows air sorry for talking like this im from europe🤣

Best instructional vid I’ve seen in a while!!! Straight and to the point. Take notes people!
I have Jordan 3s with the icey souls, and I need to build a box too, any advice for a beginner?

Wow thank you for your support! Will look into other brands.

The wattage doesn’t matter. Which solution are you using?
Sole bright by angelus
@malcolmmorrison8628 It may take a while to see results depending on how yellow the soles are. I recommend taking before photos to compare.
@malcolmmorrison8628 most people say 1000 watts at least an if you using 3 racks the bottom rack will take the longest of course

Hey as long as they’re UV they should work, but it will be much slower
How long should I ice the shoes for
Should I look at them around every 2-3 hours?
Depends on how yellow they are. Yes, checking on them every 2-3 hours is a good way to gauge the progress.

Hey, I’ve never seen this happen before. You could try using acetone or goo gone on a cotton ball.
Will it work if I have a 1000w yellow grow light
doesn't this setup require a ventilation system due to the heat?
If you plan on doing more than 8 or so hours at a time you’ll need a fan
@@SneakerStation appreciate it! i just ordered everything right now 😂
@jacet21 Awesome, it’s worth every penny. Let me know if you have any questions
@@SneakerStationif i had this same setup where would i be able to put the fan?
The top row because the lights produces a mild amount of heat.
How much mylar did you need
In case you run out? They’re sold in packs with more than enough mylar film.

I plan on making a 4500w icebox, is 4500w too much? if not will it also speed the process faster?
Way too much. 1000 is more than enough for an icebox.
😂 dude tryna microwave himself
Can you put the salon care 50 on the battleknit uppers lebron 16 white and red, or only on soles?
Thanks appreciate you
Is that a type of fabric? This is for rubber areas
Bro help me. I Ordered a 1500w light. Is it to much or its ok to try this?
Its safe to use. 1000 is more than enough though
Can you put air Jordan 4 in there?
Yep
@@SneakerStation thank you 🙏
How many Watts is your UV light?
600-1000, but they all draw around 80-100 watts
@@SneakerStation Thank You Very Much
Did you get the 600W or the 1200W?
600
For real? I just ordered a Glixer 1000W light. I hope it does the trick. 🤞🏽
Yes, you should be fine. They draw around the same amount of power ~100 watts.
Smart
Thanks, it’s definitely worth making! Pays for itself very quickly.
Restoration on some 7’s that have nubuck?
Hi. Can we also use a wood instead of cartoon?
Hey I don’t recommend using wood.
Okay bro,got it! Thank you so much for replying. God bless❤@@SneakerStation
@chimaodzei9471 No prob. Feel free to ask if you have any more questions.
would this be safe to be in my room?? electricity wise i don’t want it to explode or anything 😂
If you block the light you’ll be good. Keep in mind the unit makes a constant humming sound.
What UV Light You use ?
Everything in the description
its a nice idea but you could never ice all pairs at once you need atleast 2 lights you shouldve made it a little smaller with holes and a vent
