the idea of this ring reminds me of the nail boxes from fairytales where a witch offers a gift in a box but when you try to pull your hand out, the nails stab your hand. Kinda like how a soda bottle crawfish trap works. but honestly I see this ring as an interesting piece of work. whether true or not, the symbolism is an art statement. Whether it's physical pain or phycological pain it's interesting. but yeah i need to take off my ring if i'm painting or working in the shop at all because I WILL end up knocking it on the edge of some machinery and breaking the gem (again)
I would love to see you try out a design to see if you could make retractable tiny spikes. Just trying it on a mannequin hand. It would be interesting. I never thought of that. But hey im sure there is a market. Stainless surgical steel i guess. Like piercings. Another possible series? Seeing if certain rings could be done.
He was being facetious. I'd be intrested in how they got the magnet inside(??) Heating a magnet soldering metal to hide it inside the band would probably de magnatize the magnet. Thats some serious thermo gel & laser welding.

I take my rings off for medical reasons... MRI, CT scans, etc. Besides I think it would be unethical for someone to design a ring that inflicts harm to the wearer...and not tell them before hand... actually...it's just unethical ... period.
I mean you definitely could design a ring that hurts to be removed, kind of like how an arrow goes in smooth but does more damage if it's removed. Or like how predators teeth hooks inwards to prevent prey from pulling back away without causing more harm to themselves.
As a jeweler, I thank you for bringing to attention that people should have their rings cleaned and inspected. And keeping lotion off of designs with details. I have seen... things.

As a lapidarist/jeweler,thank you for this video. Stunning ring, especially if he actually did purchase it straight from a mine in Columbia...which the color does show Columbia so I am very sure at least that's legit...but also the idea of it hurting when you take it off? Nah. It really confused me though..so you are literally coming through with this video. It is a rad ring though, out of all that I tend to follow, trend wise. Also,as a fan of law and order SVU so I am huge nerding here..
“Maygin?? MAYGIN?!?!” 😂🤣
I sometimes feel awkward for having to defend this couple bcs I like them a lot together and their relationship seems real. But people believe in what media click bait says without giving it actual thought
About that last phone conversation with your mom, just proving the point that yes, love IS pain!
This video was great. It is cheesy and fun but you also dig deeper into the information on the ring. It is a very cool piece and I appreciated your explanation on the ‘thorns’. I watched the first video you did about it yesterday. You’ve got a new subscriber. Can’t wait to see what other beautiful pieces you talk about (not just celebrity rings). 😁
My dude!! That intro was better than most TV shows. Right on man!!
Edit--- you actually kept your roast from your Mom in!!! So humble of you.
Oh my!!!! Look at you! How creative you are!!! And your mom is hilarious 😂😂😂😂This video is the next level!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You just popped up in my recommendations and completely cought me off guard in a fantastic way! Thank-you!
Had to sub!
I subscribed to you a year ago after being touched by the musician video and to be honest I haven’t seen another one of your videos until this one popped up today. I was pleasantly surprised to see you also have a silly side. I will definitely return to your channel more often...love the blend of humanity and humor! And talent of course!
THIS WAS SO GOOD !!!!! I really appreciate this entire video man. I’m not a fan of either of them, but was intrigued by the jewelry for sure, so thank you for this. I got some good laughs, AND learned a thing or three 🥴😁😂
Appreciate the it's 'practical to remove the ring' reasoning, but I don't exactly see Megan Fox washing dishes herself... or doing many other such activities.
take it off for acting roles or modelling opportunities, take it off for cleaning, if she gets pregnant she will probably have to take it off. its not all about chores
but also think how often she’d have to take them off for her work
Yeah for handies
@@hannahcatesilver2154 Yupp exactly.
@@Baked_and_booked Megan already has 3 children w/ her 1st husband of 10 years, Brian Austin Green.
I’ve never seen one of your videos before- I wasn’t expecting a jeweler’s review of a piece of jewelry would be so comical!
I had a guest come in the other night with EIGHT diamonds missing!!! The ring was bout in 2018 and they never had an inspection... 😳😳😳
P.s. this video was amazing from start to finish! Well done!
“Yeah I mean it’s just cringe” 😂😂
Absolutely brilliant video!!
(As always)!
Your content is top quality and I really look forward to watching every new release!
Keep up the fantastic work!
Lifelong fan here, for sure xx
The mom part is hilarious. I see where you got your sarcasm from 🤣
Your channel gets better by the upload. I cannot handle the skit, it’s perfect
Edit: omg the mom phone call! 😂
I LOVE the ‘produced by : Like and subscribe’, it’s just so witty and refreshing to see 🤣🤣
You are officially going to be the one to design my ring! Love love love your energy and goofiness 🤭
the idea of this ring reminds me of the nail boxes from fairytales where a witch offers a gift in a box but when you try to pull your hand out, the nails stab your hand.
I love your vids so much, they are both educational and hilarious!
The dramatization was perfection. 🤣
I love that it’s two rings. Two complete beings that belong together and enhance each other’s awesomeness.
You win the internet today! The L&O opening 🧑🍳
I'd love a ring like that, but it'll be a niche kink market 😂
The mom phone call. Iconic 😂💕
"BESTIE
I came for the first video about the ring. I immediately subscribed and now want him to do such videos on all types of celeb engagement rings.
Lol his mom is hilarious!!! She said how embarrassing 😂
This was the first video of yours I’ve seen and I’m subscribed hahaha thank you for the laughs my friend
Watched out of curiosity as a budding metalsmith, absolutely subscribed for the humour 😂
Lmao "they're frogs! I thought we taught you better than that" I love your mom
Ooohhh was waiting for this review👀. Someone did clarify that it was a joke and not real 😂🤣
This is Part 2 of the review...check out Part 1.
@@VeroSCIA i know i already saw it. I wanted to see his review regarding the thorns can't take it of thing
He was being facetious. I'd be intrested in how they got the magnet inside(??) Heating a magnet soldering metal to hide it inside the band would probably de magnatize the magnet. Thats some serious thermo gel & laser welding.
People are too soft and read too far into the slightest things these days. You can't get away with anything edgy or funny it's just amazing to behold.
The sarcasm and creativity in this video is hilarious 🤣 😆
This video was both entertaining and very informative lol love your content!
"Machine done welly" 😭😭😂😂
How dare you not list the actor for the voice on the phone. Smh
I.AM.DYING! He's really steppin up his game! From main stream intros to playing Brittany on the keyboard as his salutation. LOVE IT! The chef's kisses are the topping on the cake! Genius!
I have seen... things.
This is why I just wear a plain gold band and leave the rocks in a box
Aren't the points supposed to be outward on engagement rings or is that not a thing anymore? Figured you might know or have heard. Thanks
@@dalpz205 Points? Of the pears? Or what?
@@insederec Yes. Say if it was a heart you'd wear it with the point facing your fingernail. When you show it to people it faces the right way. It could very well be a forgotten thing.
@@dalpz205 I'm not too sure about that, I've only been in the industry for a short amount of time, and I never much cared about jewelry before that. I do know that is important for claddagh rings though.
"Yeah I mean its just cringe." LOL LETS GO MOM
