Great documentary very interesting.thank you..
I know I'm being picky here, but submariner pronunciation Is "submariner" -- short " i ", not "submareener" with double "e" sound..
It depends if you are going by the American or British pronunciation. In the American the short "I" can be considered offensive because the prefix sub- can mean inferior hence a submariner can mean an inferior mariner where as a submariner is a person working in a submarine.
I don't like the American pronunciation either !
Outstanding! Standing by…
We are so lucky there are poeple who put out absolutely amazing documentaries for free! Thanks so much, I enjoyed it a lot really ❤
Just, WOW!
these boats look very good
Very moving episode 🙃
A submarine is a boat, it can go where it can be towed
Not anymore
@@userhessenone1469 that submarine is been cut on the museum site
@@toivopirttimaki9156 the diving cells are already cut which means water would leak in there which would lead the boat to sink
👍
❤❤❤❤
The destroyer Z1 was used for various test purposes. Look carefully at her silhouette. Note the second stack has been removed.
Dr. Ulrich Gabler’s works on submarine design and construction are a must-have for nautical/marine libraries.
Are the kayaks still produced by Klepper?

*"Oh Look, an eel!"*
_"Now we know what we'll have for lunch"_
🤣🤣
"Giant" is a bit much, it was one of the smallest submarines in service.
Not in the German Navy
Why demilitarize them...? It would be next to impossible to attack anything from a museum
It also removes weight from the boat giving them wider Margins when moving the Sub.
A Type 206 is now "a GIANT submarine"???
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
