Is it bad if I got a co troller with Hall effect sticks only on my right analog… seeing as I put more strain on my right stick and not as much for my left.. for reference I do play alt of fps games
Here is the link to the exact ones i got for this PS5 --- a.aliexpress.com/_EzUcWok --- now depends on how much you want to spend on fixing one - if you really want to do it 100% perfect you need a "driver" board for them from which you can adjust center and range - the center you don't care that much of as you can calibrate from the software but the range varies - with that board you should be able to get to like 4% - 6% error rate on circle -- i did not done it myself yet but i seen the calibration process and looks good. (but stick and driver board is much more expensive like 5 times more)
not "yellow yellow"....check the print on the front or back (red pcb) it should start with an "L"..like L-4A or L-8K or anything like that...then you know it's a PS5 Dualsense module.. If it starts with an "R" you have the PS4 hall effect
No not really - but you than have to use like solder paste or rosin. Flux in this case leave less residues than solder paste - but you still need to use some especially when you desolder as it makes it flow and separate better. So instead of flux look for solder paste - it should be around - if not try to get it from China. If that's still no go - than try to find rosin - they use it for violin (yes the musical instrument ) is a pine tree resin derivate - and if that is still out - try aspirin tablets (used to do that long time ago if i had nothing else) - but they give up a really nasty smoke - but they do work.
these original sticks are crap really, just few months and stick drifts occurring…. sony need to step up. wont buy ps6 if its controllers still using alps sticks
Good video
Thanks!

As long as it works and feels fine in a game (especially FPS) is all good - does not matter if you change 1 or both if it works :D
love it...(calibration was good)...let's mess with it haha...don't do that !
😁
Good video! where did you get the hall effect analog joysticks?

Where can I find it? Is there any link? And is it compatible with DualSense Edge controller?
do you repair these for people? If so I'd like to send you one :P

Do I have to use Flux? I can't ship it to my country. I have everything else.
Flux makes the soldering a lot easier but it's optional.

I changed my joysticks to the new electromagnetic and my percentage error is 3%. You guys should check it out it's better than this Hall effect.
