- Close range chase of a huge wall cloud moving east from Wolf Point, Montana into North Dakota through the evening of June 15, 2024. Law enforcement reported a tornado near Poplar, MT. NWS issued a tornado warning shortly before 7:30 PM MDT. Dust storms with the high winds in ND created low visibility and hazardous driving conditions as the darkness fell.

Incredible footage of the storm wall moving east, nice work staying ahead of it enough to give you enough time to shoot it moving over several hours. You've got the makings of a storm chaser. Myself, I'd have been looking for a place to hide, hahahaha.

How many miles did you drive that day?
Well that chase was about 100 miles from Wolf Point to Williston ND. I started from Miles city that morning after a couple days on a camping trip. After the storm in this video ended, I drove from ND straight home to western Washington state with only 90 mins of sleep in a rest area around Missoula!
I recommend learning how to read the different tilts of the radar. You ca clearly see the tornado forming on the radar with the red and green. When the red and green meet and start turning white is indicating rotation.
