So I just completed this repair with the help of your video. Because you did so well at explaining, I had a homemade tool ready to go, was done in no time, & didn't utter a single swear word along the way. Thank you, you saved me a lot of money & trouble!
This video is "spot on"!!! Thank you so much for sharing your expertise. My husband & I did this repair today and our washing machine is working correctly now.
Thanks for this video. I ordered the parts that I needed and fixed my washer by using your step by step method. The only thing that didn't work was the test mode method, but I used my washer after fixing it, and it worked just like I bought it brand new. Thank you so much, bro!!!!
This is the best Ken/Whirl tub spring replacement video on YT. The first vid I watched had the machine on it's side, no thanks. I tied rope to vice grips to support the tub without a helper, it worked but pales in comparison to "The Magical Tool".
What I can't tell everyone how amazing I am, 😢😢😅jk . No I just have to say as someone who has to s22 and hear all details to do stuff myself. YOUR VIDEO HERE IS SPOT ON PERFECT FOR ME, YOU WENT SLOW AND STEADY AND SHOWED MISSED STEPS. LOVED IT THANKS.
Exactly what I needed to know. I should have asked this question before changing the lid lock, the board and the shifter, lol. Chased down the wrong rabbit hole.
I am going to replace my shocks, but i have 2 tub centering springs currently. Should u replace those too or reuse the current ones or just leave them out altogether?
hey man I completed the repair and it worked for one cycle and after that it started shaking again. If the struts are good is there anything else that would cause it to shake?
@@yowaitwhat try replace the pully clutch kit or what ever the thing at the bottom that's holds the spin. that's what i did to our washer the model that I have does have the pulley clutch kit so I replaced that and the suspension rod with silver color not the black one.. mine got no problem and its been a week now

Hi there just a quick question. Why is the model number on the washer different from the part number on the new part? I have the same washer with a different model number and I’ve ordered the same part on your description but it turn out to be the wrong part. The new part is shorter.
The Part Linked is For the Model Number in the Video. Although One Part Can Fit Various Models, You Should Always Check your Model Number to See if it is the Same Part. Some Appliances Look the Same, But Don't Use the Same Parts. If you Give Us the Model Number to Your Washer, We can Help to See if it is the Same Part or a Different One, and Let you Know Which it is. Hope this Helps, Thanks for Watching!
@DIYRepairsNow Thanks man! I was wondering if there was a way to find out the rating of the springs and just order generic springs instead of the whole assembly. Not expecting you to know that, but just speculating I guess. If the springs just got weak it's kind of a waste to replace the wire part.
Not a safe option and won't be held accountable but take two screws out of lock on lid and just place in the slot. Will allow you to open lip and not wait for watcher timer to unlock. You don't want to put hand in if moving or do this if you have children.

Great vidio
Thank You.
Thank you my friend!
No problem
Where can I get that tool
From the video I think he made it, but he says you can use one of the old shocks instead
This video is amazing! Thanks!
You're very welcome! Glad My Video Was Helpful!
@@DIYRepairsNowvideo is still amazing. My drum only bounces up and down once, but it still hits side to side 😢
What if it only bounce once? It bounces once but it jiggles side to side afterward.
That is an Indication that only One of the Shocks is Bad, However they Only Sell them as a Set of 4.
