Just discovered Sully’s seats. Going to order a king and Queen seat for my 2012 sporty. Stoked to find a company who makes king and queen seats after 2003 models.
Weird and awesome looking bike! That seat is a perfect match for the purple tank and long forks.

So I bought my bike with the gold flake vinyl one already on. Pros: I always get compliments on the seat, the back rest is nice. The back seat vibrates a lot... Cons: vinyl looks like hammered dog shit after a year unless you like patina. Back bracket broke once and had to re- weld. It is a cheaply made seat, the pan isn't super strong with 2 people and will flex. Seat is about as hard as a corn cob and max comfort distance is a tank of gas and im in my 20's.
Back seat screams no fat chicks lmao
I mean.... I've had larger women than me on that back seat. The only complaint I've had is good vibes in a peculiar way.

How’s the cushioning? Some people have said these seats are really hard. Does it feel wobbly at all with the way it mounts?
It's not too bad, but it will wear you out after a while. It can be a little wobbly, but I bent the stock tab on my bike to make it fit in tighter.
Are you still running this seat? Still like it? I’m trying to decide between this one, TC Bros version, and Throttle Addictions version. I’m also debating this k/q or just a cobra because it’s cheaper. Gah! So hard to decide!
It’s a great seat with nice leather and looks amazing. For long rides, it’s not very comfortable. I have rode on worse seats though.
I could be wrong here but I’m fairly certain your intake snoot is supposed to face forwards and then your screws may fit in their places, the different length screws are for different heights where they mate up to the snoot smallest going on the thinnest spot and longest on the thicker part, if you try it out let me know the results I’m trying to buy an old busted engine I found and make a custom bike. Epic wheelie also 🤘🏻
I figured the exact same thing as you, but it only bolts up the one way, to the rear. The little breather hole for the choke/enrichener have to line up with it towards the rear.
How does it handle at high speed with the rabbit ears handle bar
They are great at high speeds. Completely comfortable. It’s the really low speed stuff that you have to get used to.

I came across your build and I’m doing an 80 ironhead this year and this one’s a 79 (same frame) did you get a custom sully seat made or did you use the evo one? I’m just curious because I didn’t see that in the description. I’m going to do a swing arm bike because my back is shot and finding a cool kind and queen for a non ridged are few and far apart
Yea, this is the ‘82 to ‘03 seat. It fits perfectly. The frame changed very little and all ‘82 - ‘03 seats will fit down to a ‘79.

I'm so glad I went searching through these comments. I just bought an 81 ironhead and the seat that's on it is hideous, yet I can't find any cool seats made to fit pre 82. But from what I see here it will work? I looked up in a chat thread and it sounds like it's only about a 1 inch difference.
