Speed academy, please actually go into detail about the vehicles next time, not just "nice carbon intake, nice rims, big turbo, nice manifold", I'm not trying to be rude it just would have been nice to have someone who actually wants to talk about cars, talking about the cars. you don't just shake off and not film lamborghinis booth, or a Garrett 5.0, I think a lot of people would have liked to see those.
+Sam D'Amours We totally wanted to but it would have taken us way too much time to track the owner down, ask for full details at the show. Our goal is to cover the whole thing and just show a sample of what was there. If we eventually have more than 2 of us at the show then we'll make sure to create spot lights on the really cool cars.

+thesamandnath Yeah it's really funny. You have all these super custom cars and then you have guys show up with a Lambo, paint it flat black and maybe put a set of rims of it... "Meh' is right.

Not a fan of all of these kitted up cars myself. I like the go fast stuff though.
Great video as usual. We got pretty lucky, when we walked by the blue Boss S14 you showed the owner was walking Kei Miura around it so it made for some cool pics. Then when we went to ForgeStar to see the RWB cars Akira Nakai was there too. Lucky I guess.

That blue S14 Silvia was nice. Looks like the front end was redone and shortened, to mimic the look of the Hakosuka Skyline.

Damn SEMA is a candy shop this year. You guys might have to invest in some segways and hella flush them for the street credz haha

+mzondi1970 It's a unique look, one that you either like or hate. We personally would love to see a boss kit without the fender flares.
+Speed Academy it reminds me of a Dodge Challenger I didn't mind the kit on the FRS, but after seeing so many I think I got burnt out on all of them I like a more clean look
Intrigued by the fact that income-disparity is continuing its corrosive affect on society. The average American, read majority have not seen an increase in pay in so many years, the average American is making $4,000 less using 2000 as the base year. Who is buying all of these products? Who commissions a car from a specialty builder?

+shawnthomas397 SEMA used to actually have a show out in Atlantic City back in 2004-ish and it was pretty damn great! Maybe it will indeed come back.

At 10:51 how do they make an engine bay look this clean i mean where's the battery, fluid containers, wires and all of the ugly stuff a car needs to run?!
+Fahad AlQanaee They move everything to spots where it can't be seen. Inside the fender wells, under the dash, etc. It requires a crazy amount of work to build these cars that have such clean engine bays. The red Mustang probably cost $150,000-$300,000+ to build.

A local shop to me entered a awd turbo k20 honda insight this year. It's a total sleeper and appears bone stock. Check them out while your there, LHT performance. They've been featured in magazines for their honda swaps.

Lost me on the Aventador. It's a damn Lamborghini, it is SUPPOSED to be crazy colors with ridiculous wheels and shit. It's supposed to spit flames, break the sound barrier and run off of dreams and testosterone. It's not a drift car, it's a poster car. It's allowed to be ridiculous.
+Anti theAdvocate Looks like we have different tastes, a set of bright green wheels that resemble a style that I've seen on drift cars don't really fit the style of a black Lambo in my books but to each their own. That's the beauty of modding cars, you can do whatever you please.
+Speed Academy the 350z at 7:51 also has bright colored wheels. But it sure is not a drift car either. How come you didn't make the same comment as you did with the Lambo?
+Jonghyun lee Because its a 350Z and not a $400,000 dollar super car. I personally don't like gaudy looking wheels on supercars. I prefer a more subtle performance oriented looking wheel but as I said before, to each their own.

+18iser That's controlled in the steering column not the race pak. All the display does is indicate when the signal is on.

Have you seen the new Peugeot 308 HybridR?
Supposedly it is a AWD with 500HP (electric engines and all)
Has a 1.6L petrol engine and they say it is the most powerful of those engines sizes.
0-100 km/h in 4seconds.
how do you feel the Focus will do against it?
+lambusado Sadly, we don't get any Peugeots here so we really don't know but if the power figures are right and the car has instant torque with electric engines, it's going to be an insanely fast and fun car.
