I know it's a LOT more work- but it was SO MUCH better when you guys commentated the products and cars in the vids... So much of this deserved explaination
Turbot Probed did you see it in the flesh? The rx7 was a fun build, and was very relatable for me as a hobby mechanic. he builds fast and sometimes cuts corners/makes decisions I would personally do different and take more time for. That said, I have a lot of respect for his work ethic, positive attitude and determination to finish a monster project like this.
The Z looks really good in the flesh, the welds, the fitment, the fab, the interior is all on point. There are a few things that still need addressing but that's just because of the SEMA crunch. Considering what Chris did in such little time the Z is fantastic. I think the only thing he will need to really sort out is the seat position as it looks tight in there.
Awesome coverage!! You didn't bore us with unnecessary info. You let us see everything there was to see and it wasn't too slow and it wasn't too long! I love it!
Love all the crazy Supras, the 300SL, the white 911 with ITBs...so much eye candy. Thanks so much for making these videos, they are a TH-cam highlight.
6:59 1985 Toyota Celica Supra my forever car. I'm still looking for a clean one in white just like the one shown. I'm drooling! thanks for the video Speed Academy.
great video, no commenting, no bs, long enough looks at each car, nice even variety of vehicles to view... excellent! I found the '65 Mustang with the Ferrari engine a pretty unexpected and sexy build
1:09 Mike buroughs from stanceworks new build. It's amazing seeing old venders that got me into the sport, to new vendors like yourselves, speed academy. Mike b inspird a 16 year old me back in the day.
Great coverage! Guys, you have to see the only Volkswagen Gol in US! Its owner, Tiago Kfouri from Brazil will tell the story of this little rocket. Its located behind the Toyota GT86 orange from Eneos, entering the building, the Gol is green
Bullshitting with the owner at my dealership today, and he said he'll pay for my tickets next year!! Super excited, thanks for the great coverage see you next year maybe!
Awesome video🏁🏁 Gotta be the best show on earth! Your tour shows the amazing diversity of engineering and artisan skills in h US of A! Thanks so much guys 😉👍👍
Can anyone please tell me more about the Spyder Mustang at the 24:42 mark? i would like to see more of that car, but have no idea how to find the info. Thanks
I went to this one for the first time ever, definitely one of the coolest experiences I've had. Walked 4 hours one day, 3 the next and still didn't get to see it all. Hope you make it to SEMA one day, really worth the time
@@speedacademy yeah i was wondering why it wasnt even partially shielded. i've seen oval cars run a 8 to 1, but they also ran the engine offset AND had a shielded carb. looks great though.
Hey guys, thanks for the content. If possible, please take a shot of any signage next to products. You showed a bunch of sweet stuff but I feel like Sherlock Holmes trying to figure out who produced it. It would also be great to see some interviews with the product manufacturers themselves explaining how their products are unique, etc.
Great job with car show guys! I film car shows from time to time on my channel as well. I'm glad that you left off the music. Sometimes the music is too distracting for the videos. Best of Luck!
I absolutely love how u just show the cars without all the talking. TH-cam's people should learn from you. Meaning you don't have to talk in every video
Best video on TH-cam for SEMA 2018. No music, talking, or crazy video editing. Just simply beautiful machines in all their glory. Thank you sir!
Was hoping they would show B is for Builds 240z
I WAS looking for the same thing!!!! haha. Konig wheels uploaded an Instagram picture of it and its UNREAL!

@@stevec7819 HAHA! yeah sorry I was just watching a video and messed up. My apologies
I was a little bummed about it.

No frills talking or music...just straight up coverage. Just the way I like it...thank you and subscribed!
Lots of comments about a job well done without a bunch of zing zang music, crazy talk or video clips with a one second time frame. Love it.
I know it's a LOT more work- but it was SO MUCH better when you guys commentated the products and cars in the vids... So much of this deserved explaination
Would love some more comments. I'm curious what you think of the bisforbuild 240Z at the Konig stand
I saw it, it looks remarkably good considering the hack job he did on the rx7

Yep was at Sema yesterday and today. Didn't crawl all over the thing but it looked good.

Perfect! No commentary - wandering around the show saying the same things I'd be saying if I was doing this tour. Thank you!
really appreciated the no music keep up the good work guys.
Wish every expo had a video like this. From Comic-Con to E3, just a quick walkthrough. Kudos.
Best SEMA walk through coverage!
Year after year you give us the feeling of walking the show floor!!!
Well done and thanks from all of us who couldn't make SEMA 2018.
The only sema coverage I'm watching this year.
25 minutes of pure car porn! No music no nonsense...well done!!
i know it is pretty off topic but does anybody know a good website to watch newly released movies online?
@Julian Jackson lately I have been using FlixZone. You can find it by googling =)

I used to live in ky....there was a white supra just like the one @ 7:03... just sitting in some old guys front yard with weeds all grown around it.
Best SEMA video I seen 👍
Thank You for this!!! I could not make it to SEMA, now I can say I was there with your help!
Thanks for taking the time and effort with posting.
Phenomenal craftsmanship and ingenuity.
I had to stop watching to say thank you for such excellent filming, it's not just the equipment.
@18:01 The dude in the background matches the car LMAO
that red and white f-250 was sweet with his roll bar and bumper good old off-road look

Wouldn't have minded if this video was an hour long
Not a car enthusiast or anything like that
But I can admire these beautiful creations.
That white Porsche and grey Mercedes at 12:40 are gorgeous.

Thank you for just showing all the awesome cars!
That 300SL is a WORK OF ART!
Better camera work and editing than anything on TV.
Thank yoU!
Great content per usual guys, enjoy the long format. Really like those new corollas, they look quite good.
I've been thinking about this for a while. Best format imo.
Holy smokes, that blacked out wide body LS S2k is just perfect. I don't even like ls swaps but it must perform well.
the BISIMOTO k swapped wagon at 23:40 has to have the boosted boys drooling, i am...
SA always w/ the best coverage !!!
Can you tell me anything about the wheels on the purple mustang at 24:42? Or maybe something about the car so I can go look for those wheels?
Sick ass whips!!! Hoping to make it out there for the first time next year!!!
9:00 kinda weird to Mitsubishi on a Nissan, but Mitsubishi did make cam sensors for the RB and CA iirc
Thanks for sharing. Was incredible.
Can't take my eyes off that white Turbo FC 👀👀👀
Charles Shamseldin that Pandem kit tho👀👀

I knew I bumped into you guys!
Awesome guys. Thanks for shooting this. OMG, somebody (hey Exoto) should make that Hunter Field with the trailer into a 1:12 Diecast!
I need to go to SEMA! so many stunning builds there, wish we got those bad ass rat rod trucks over here
Crazy exhaust on the Trans Am!
Wow that craftsmanship on the s2k exhaust manifold 🤯😱🧐😍
@15:01 Firebird Header and exhaust package good for 200hp gain🤷🏾♂️ but the sparkplug change on a big block is priceless🤬🤬🤬☠💀
That Pandem bodykit fc really makes me think of a Lotus Esprit, I wonder if that's what they were going for.
Well done! Thank you for sharing!
7:52 god that's refreshing a track driven Supra, good find.
16:45 what's the black muscle car?
12:58 is it real 300SL or some kind of replica?
Awesome. Thanks. Appreciate the lack of wailing heavy metal music.
Thanks for the edit in between cars.
can someone explain me the basket of snakes firebird racecar thing? is that a 180° header with extra long runners?
Its a 8 into 1 design but IMO more of an exercise in fabrication and showmanship then functionality.
@@speedacademy yeah i was wondering why it wasnt even partially shielded. i've seen oval cars run a 8 to 1, but they also ran the engine offset AND had a shielded carb. looks great though.
