Something a little different for the channel, a quick preview of the Bonhams Auction at Goodwood FOS 2024. I cherry pick a few cars, run through their history, give an indication on auction guide prices and also reveal what they achieved at the auction.

The 928 is a 70s car which run until 1992 with very minimal changes to the design and the 928GTS sells at a higher price than Some 911s✅

A rather large door/panel gap @6:41? The Countach looks much purer without the ridiculous fiber glass panels stuck on all over the place and it was a mockery to the orig.

I never understood the hype with Magnus. He’s just a bloke who was into Porsches before most. He signed a car (on the outside no less), the interior was quite ugly imo. I thought both of those were negatives and was surprised it even hit 200k.
That 993 GT2 though? 🔥

Agree, interior on the white 930 Turbo is very marmite however the Martini livery does make the car look mega 👊🏼

3.2 Carrera is a 5 speed 915 or G50 box not a 4 speed. 4 speeds were found in the 930 Turbo

Some of your stats way off there Raj! 300kg for the 4wd system on the GT2 is more like 50kg. The 964 4wd system is supposed to be 100kg but many people have weighed the components at less in reality. Great video though still! I suspected the Ferrari was the one you were after.

Thanks for the feedback - realised my stats were incorrect once the video went out! Nevertheless, the GT2 is a weapon and up there as one of the best 911’s ever produced 👍🏽

The 4 speed 930 gearbox was built to homologate the 935s. A 935 with 750+ ft/lbs of torque needed something far stronger than the 915 trans, which can only handle like 350 max. The later 5 speed G50/50s are totally different than the 930 trans. They didn't just add a 5th gear to a 930 box, but completely redesigned it (even the synchros are a totally different design).
