Excellent! Much more like Smith & Sniff with all the in-jokes and less like a corporate sales catalogue run through! You can't 'find another' auction run-through like this, on that side of things...
@@ChishanFipz No dear boy, because just like these two meat whistles, and lovely, leafy, gouty Goodwood itself, I'm an Englishman, and we spell things correctly! 😉😂
OTOSOT, playing this as a Sniff N Smith bingo drinking game, means being absolutely trolleyed by Countach. CMTMB, you sweet sweet guys. Quality broadcasting.
Rich looks like he had 18 bottles of hearty red last night. Edit: I take that back, he is absolutely on point in this video. And everybody looks a bit red here. Somebody messed with the colors.
Absolute quality lads. Please please do more of this stuff. You are the motoring worlds equivalent of morecombe and wise, cannon and ball and the chuckle brothers baked together in super unleaded glory. Love it. Sport. ❤
welcome back smith and sniff! knowledge, presentation skills and decided irreverence the only thing better will be their podcast about the "behind the scenes" experience!
Sweet, sweet little 911 Carrera from 1985! I remember... I used to have a deliiightful 1985 Carrera Targa Sport, obviously not from the sextays... that was a very different time... but such a wonderful car! 😃
8:50 You forgot the best part about the Facel: They have a steel dash, painted and polished to look like fancy wood. But it's just metal that someone spent a lot of time painting by hand.
I absolutely Love the beautiful Lister Jaguar. Especially because, it has a manual transmission. I also love the beautiful red 928 with a manual transmission at 11:34. I just wish I had the money. Thank you.
To celebrate his wife's birthday last year, Gary "Cars" Numan bought her a mint condition silver Plymouth Prowler. "It's the only way to live, in ca-ars!" That Facel Vega is such an underrated gem and interesting design.
I love that prowler and always have. Yer it would be a great for a v8 swap but anyway what a coll looking car. All the hot rod style with modern driveable trates. And 20k for cars now days is not alot of money. I think if you was looking for a second car to play with at the weekend it would be amazing 👏
Some more video on the Holland & Holland would have been great. This is a incredibly rare vehicle if it was original and the interior is based on a gun. A lot more than painted wheels and a 5 litre engine guys. Some amazing cars in the video and the original AC is beautiful.
Nice to see the Facel Vega HK500 being admired... not enough of these cars featured on TH-cam... I think they're very nearly the most beautiful cars of the period.... If I ever win the lotto Retropower are going to build me the ultimate HK....
Rich & Jonny, you guys have such a great way of presenting. You need your own show on streaming service. It would rate VERY well. Keep up the quirky symmetry working together. CMTMB
Madonna’s definitely down with a Lister XJS, they’ve both had the same amount of work done. She’s basically Stage IV tune now 😜 Also fun fact about the Prowler: it was derived from a student project, and the student in question was Chip Foose of Overhaulin’ fame.
Great as always on that side of things. But whoever did the colour grade managed to make Johnny look like he has liver failure and Richard looks like he has an exclusive diet of Port and Cheese!
I hoped for a mention of “leafy leafy London” when talking about the Bentley Continental. I would also say that it is also an exquisite example of the marque !! CMTMB
Anyone else notice the Black Rat sticker on the Martini Porsche, Metropolitan Police traffic squads calling card or get me off the speeding ticket badge 🤣
The butterfly next to the headlights was a private sponsorship I think? They were on the Simtek F1 car and that was the last private sponsorship in F1 I think?
Find another!
Couldn't resist that tyre kick at 23:05 😂
Sweet sweet cars

That sign off! 🙂
@@ijazb and all that
Best thing on the Goodwood channel over FOS weekend is Smith and Sniff.
. The amount of inside jokes and all that for Smith and Sniff listeners is off the scale on that side of things. Sweet, sweet video. CMTMB
Sweet Sweet Guys.
Britain's premier flautists, roundabout despoilers and just all round sweet, sweet guys!
Roundabout despoilers 😂
Don't you mean Flutists?
@@ChishanFipz No dear boy, because just like these two meat whistles, and lovely, leafy, gouty Goodwood itself, I'm an Englishman, and we spell things correctly! 😉😂
Tooled-up Bibendum had me in stitches, thanks lads 🤣
Thank you Goodwood fos for letting these guys do there stuff 😅
So many cars from the sixtiiees, it was a different time you know…
We really need to know the story behind Richard's does he, doesn't he still have his range rover.
It's not over for the range rover.
Nice to see you guys. Not just a voice over the podcast
Great video and great cars. I wish I could be there 😊
Been waiting for this for ages, jonny and richard are the best!
OTOSOT, playing this as a Sniff N Smith bingo drinking game, means being absolutely trolleyed by Countach.
CMTMB, you sweet sweet guys. Quality broadcasting.
Yes, Facel Vega are a lot understated.
Sweet sweet cars, and sweet sweet guys.
Sweet, sweet guys - a rare treat for the Smith & Sniff podcast enthusiast 👏
Some sweet sweet rides! I have the sudden urge to drive that XJS at night listening to Crockets theme.
Rich looks like he had 18 bottles of hearty red last night.

Yeah, even the tent looks red...

Love this! Could watch them for hours talk about cars, so much passion and comedy but also tells you everything you need to know.
The videos with these chaps are always my highlight of the FoS weekend. CMTMB
Find another !!
We all know what the best quest is. 😂
🦅
The jump from the plinth really made me laugh. Sweet sweet guys
The 308 grass verge takeaway was the best part of the opening sequence 🤙🏻
Johnny @ 19:22
"Perched on a chubby"
Now I really like cars but that's next level!🤣🤣🤣
Facel Vega is the ultimate classic. Recently went to Haynes Museum. They asked me what car i would like to take home. No contest Vega every time.
Jonny and Richard at Goodwood, pointing at
exotic cars and spouting obscure, humorous trivia? Utter car content heaven, impossible to better, OTSOT.
Cheers mate, thanks mate, bye.
I want to live in a commune with Richard and Jonny .
What a sweet sweet ockshun tour, FIND ANOTHER

(So wanted to add a Spowwerrt and a "back in the day" to the above, but that wouldn't have been of the sextays!) 😅
Richard turns some fascinating colours in this video
Richard having a bad case of hangover or too much sun :D
Bit of both perhaps, but the reds/magentas seem super pumped up everywhere in the vid, so I think the colorist may share some of the blame :)
The tent looks red...
8:50 You forgot the best part about the Facel:

I can’t get enough of these! More please!

Top notch work, you wonderful SSGs

Some interesting cars. With the market looking very toppy for cars over 100K€, the Citroën Maserati is indeed the one to go for.
These two need to be on tv 👍🏼😎
To celebrate his wife's birthday last year, Gary "Cars" Numan bought her a mint condition silver Plymouth Prowler.

That Caddy is beautiful! Cant believe that is over 60 years old.
I also love that Prowler!

My favourite pairing. A rare and much enjoyed treat.

Loved this, well done guys
Missed this yesterday thanks for sharing! 💯🇬🇧🏁
Talking about Prince and the Prowler connection, then Johnny says "what's this, a 1999". Missed a gag there boys ;-)
Johnny , the quality of your channel is fantastic , only wish I had a classic find for you to film ...but sadly I don't
Maybe Richard did 20 press ups just prior to this....
You guys are brilliant! Cheers 🍻

Just listening to the pod and had to check this out. It's as if Jonny and Richard have taken on the red and yellow of the graphics for this year 😂
Great as always on that side of things. But whoever did the colour grade managed to make Johnny look like he has liver failure and Richard looks like he has an exclusive diet of Port and Cheese!

Great review OTSOT
That Cobra R has a North Carolina inspection sticker in the windshield
Funny, informative, interesting…great presentation.
That AC Cobra is exquisite 👌
where has Richard been to get that sunburn. not had the sun in the UK this year
Love the Face Vega. Ringo (Starr) had one for a long time.
Great prog. Thanks.
John Peel session with 'Girthy Catalogue'
Is there a link for registration and bidding??
Great content very infomative..😮
Always such funny vids 😂
No 2.2 Prelude?!
Richard feels like the Simon Farnaby of cars at times.
Here at leafy, leafy Goodwood
So leafy.
Great double act and the cars weren’t bad either.
they may well have broken youtube, with this 25mins of car presenting excellence.
Thanks mate, just sorting out the six numbers
Awesome awesome, love the lister Jag, super rare
289 COBRA is my dream car!!
Really enjoyed this review …

My Volvo 240 estate has the same phone in it as th at demonstrated by Richard in the Porsche
Some superb examples of the marque...
Nice overview of the Bonhams car sale guys, for me the choice, is a dark green Ford Mustang in the back :)
That Prowler was designed by Chip Foose. He tells about in aan episode of Jay Lenno's Garage.
Jonny's right about the Metro, I seen one go up the hill on Thursday, the noise was insane. CHEERS M8 THANKS M8 BYE.
The shutlines on the Citroën Maserati are all over the place. Not surprising it had a reputation for unreliability.
Brilliant video chaps, what a double act.
I wonder if that Countach original came from Station Garage Taplow with that plate?
Have to agree with Johnny, Madonna doesn't give off Lister XJS vibes.
I’d bloody love a Prowler ❤
The Caddy and the Healey for me. An odd combination perhaps but that's the way I roll.
whenn you said the Prowler had a famous owner i was thinking Dale Winton.
Anyone else notice the Black Rat sticker on the Martini Porsche, Metropolitan Police traffic squads calling card or get me off the speeding ticket badge 🤣
Absolute SSG's.
The butterfly next to the headlights was a private sponsorship I think? They were on the Simtek F1 car and that was the last private sponsorship in F1 I think?
The butterfly was the logo of Schmidt Motorsport, who prepped the car. Well, the original one, as this one is half a replica.
Plymouth Prowler.. vg 😂paper headline gag . And almost S N 1FL no plate too! Get it! 6R4 BEST sounding Group B ever
Where do I go to buy that La Ferrari plus that West F1 side pod
