Mr. Metcalfe keep in mind we love your auction videos to cover as many cars as possible:) no matter the length.
Thank you for your work
The poor guy doing the editing just manages to get the video out in the morning of the auction. Longer and it would come out after the auction! ;-)
Why not just address him as Harry?
You paying him for his work are you? ... Pratt.
poor comment
I LOVE how Harry says "...but what I really want to show you is THIS" for almost each car. Keep the great work! thanks!!
Lol! It's the auction video version of "but what this car is all about is the driving, so let's take it outside now"
its Trap only Harry can pull off !
😄😄👍🏾
@@fakeplastictrees13 VERY TRUE!!
23:25 “I still haven’t made it inside…” 😂 Your unrivalled automotive enthusiasm is why we subscribe, Mr. Metcalfe. And why your subscriber base continues to grow. Here’s to 750K subscribers!
I'm a very simple man. I notice a new auction preview video presented by Harry Metcalfe, I make myself a coffee and I watch it intently.
Ditto!
Fair play, me too:)
These are my favourite videos by far. Love seeing these really special vehicles, while compiling a fantasy shopping list.
Have to love Harry' enthusiasm. Getting soaked outdoors and waylaid en route numerous times.
Do you know, why the Diablo SE has this carbon fiber strip sitting on the top of the headlights? Its purpose is to hide the "NISSAN" lettering in the headlight, which is derived from the 300ZX ;-)
I suspect everyone watching this video already knows that.
The fact that it has Nissan headlights is pretty common knowledge.
Didn't Iain T. point that out a few weeks back?
Well I didn’t know that!
Yawn
Harry you are an absolute pro at these auctions now. Hands down better than anything that mainstream telly can dream of. Hanging on every word. Buy them all, on your saying so x
That Batmobile recreation is just WOW ! ❤
I always enjoy the auction videos Harry, nobody covers them better.
The 964 Cat D, Audi C5
Allroad and the HF2 RS2000 Auto are the stars for me
Your enthusiasm is infectious Harry!
I spy Richard Hammond's silver Mercedes by the stairs. 😂
😂😂😂
Lil Hamstermobile.
Definitely 😂😂😂
He was forced to sell it as he couldn't reach the pedals..
I thought it was powered by the little wheel in the boot, that he had to run around
"We all had TVR's". Did we really...............................
What he meant to say that all of us generationally minted posh families owned tvrs
They say money can’t buy class. Yep If you have a red vantage Aston Martin. That is stunning. Jaw dropper if you ever saw it on the road. CSL sublime
Love Harry's genuine excitement to show the cars
As a Brit living in the most dull Australian city on the planet, I watch your videos with a hint of melancholy. One day I’ll come home and get back to the things that make me whole.
It's not the geography it's the people
sounds like you are a bit home-sick,but i know how you feel
@@michaelgoodall1825
Much nicer people here in Australia
Melbourne ???
Mate u have lost the plot, insurance scam for cars...England ain't no more mate...u are in gods country now...live over there for a year and bring back ur choice of car , pay 10%gst +5% and ur home....just did it ..
That bronze Diablo should have a #NSFW tag on it
Thank you as ever Harry! Another blinder of an auction preview. That Merlin engine would go down a treat on the farm!
That Diablo will go for over a million I bet.
Mr. Metcalfe understands timing - buzzing to have just clocked off on a Friday? BANG Auction video. Sunday blues? BAM review. Legend.
Fortunate to have had a passenger ride in that 6R4 at Goodwood this year. Bucket list item.
Is that the £700 / mile one? Duratec engine?
Thank you for the tour for those of us who can't be there in person!
I always watch and enjoy these Auction previews. The 72 BMW CSL at 29:31 is lovely. The challenger is one of my dream cars at 10:52 though I would prefer a Plymouth Cuda.
"But what I really want to show you,,," LOVE IT!!!
Every time I see an Auction video I can't wait until I can sit down, with my coffee, and listen to Harry tell us about unique enthusiast cars. Love these! Thank you, Harry! Keep them coming.
I love these 'stuff of dreams' walkabouts. I realise it won't get the views, but a quick look at the motorbikes would be heartwarming.
That diablo is just beautiful
Everyone selling before capital gains tax is applied to classic cars etc
Love these auction videos. Been a long time
Really enjoy all your auction reviews as I get to see some truly beautiful cars, my favourite of this review has to be the E-Type V12 "Restomod" what an awesome car.
Nice 😍 I am using a Mercedes M120 V12 for my project 👍
What a great selection of cars!!! I was lucky enough to walk around them all during the Silverstone Festival but the one I'd have driven home in was the Lotus Carlton 💯
Superb video ,I can see Clarkson’s Escort Cosworth topping £100k 👍
Agree.
At 19:22 Danny Lucus collection of Mercs features. The collection is viewable on the Merc museum episode of Late Break Show with Johnny Smith :) Knew I recognised them Mercs.
I love these vids, Harry's giddy with excitement, the best kind!
That BMW Batmobile is spectacular
Can't believe you walked past the Aston Martin Vanquish - a much overlooked car and definitely a future classic.
I love these sale review videos, and this was no exception. That Morgan hardtop was the highlight for me.
Always a pleasure watching!
After the Sotheby Auction at Monterey Car Week, that low mileage, manual Lamborghini Diablo is now worth over 1 million dollars Harry. If you can get that Diablo for that price, you could double your money in the States at least. It will be interesting to see where the price of that gorgeous golden beauty ends at. Love these auction videos, wouldn't mind if these went longer. You always have great stories with the cars. Thanks, mate, from New Smyrna Beach, Florida!
The color of that Diablo . . . damn. It's love.
And I love the clean look without the wing
These videos are great, plenty of knowledge shared accompanied with side stories,a great combination 👍
Fantastic as usual, don't forget to breathe 👏
That Merlin would make a lovely leaf blower
Jay Leno's kind of thing
Great to see so many stunning cars. I had a Ford RS2000 in the same Daytona Yellow and Orange colours. Wish you had also mentioned the Ford Lotus Cortina Mk2.
Harry and the sweet shop , so many jars to choose from. Fantastic !!!!
Iconic is definitely the right name for that auction. Really cool to see so many amazing cars, there were so many I can't pick a favourite. Nice one Harry.
Thank you Harry. Those first 911s would be my first choice. That last green Jaguar is a dream made real. 🙂
Never selling my 512 TR
Love these auctions videos. The beautiful classic cars are a joy to watch. ❤ from Dubai
964 prices are mad. I had one 20 years ago and it wasn’t a patch on the 993 I also had, and a lifetime away from the 997 I replaced it with 🤷🏻♂️
Harrys great could listen and watch him at these auctions all day
I recognise that Mercedes 450 SE rally-car from one of Jonny Smith's Late Brake Show Car-cave episodes 😲
When I was at college, not long after you, Harry, I too had a fellow student (a girl) who used to arrive in a Messerschmitt....
As soon as I hear Harry's voice, I relax and wander into automotive bliss. Would love that Murchi, be a right laugh, and equally crap!
That row of Mercedes was breathtaking. Thank you Harry 😊
Love these videos! Learn so much, thanks Harry .
All of these long-time owned toys, of the likely now elderly or deceased, hopefully moving on to new homes and continued use
That red Aston Xpack oh my be still my beating heart!!!!
So many great cars, very fair pricing on everything. Also fell in Love with the Griffith like many others in Gran Turismo 1. Griffiths were the perfect update to british roadsters.
Oh man the Chevette HSR is the one I’d go for. As 17 year olds my friend had a 1.3l chevette and I unfortunately had a 1989 1.0 metro. Racing was close but I was always jealous of his rear wheel drive. So much fun.
Love the commentary Harry and I learn so much about cars!
S2000 please! Beautiful light blue example.
Dont know why but i love these auction walkabout videos
No question its a buyers market right now!
Harry another great video, I love your auction videos, you explain everything in such an easy-to-understand way, love it. My choice are R34 GT-R that were in the back :)
Thanks for doing these Auction cars videos, do many incredible cars there!!
Fantastic video. Love the porches 😊. So much detail.
"You should have seen him when they arrived. He was like a kid in a candy store." I love it 😂🤣😂
Lovely knowledge with lovely enthusiasm #awesome 😎
30-35k for an S2000 is absolute lunacy
its got 1000 miles bro
Love these auction video's.
I adored the A6 Allroad when it dropped. It was revolutionary at the time and looked very cool.
Most unreliable Audi of modern times. Which is quite a low bar......
Diablo and yellow Escort Rs Cosworth 1:28 please. Brilliant auction video again Harry 🙏🏻
Some of my favorite videos are Harry giving us the private tour like this. Cheers for getting wet for us 😊
The Testarossa is a work of art, loved the V8 Aston also, if I had the money.
And the Ford Focus side indicators on the manual Murci always a nice touch on a car that’s getting towards a million dollars in the US.
160 cars-what does that say about the state of the classic car market? There are far more sellers than buyers, and I'm betting that most of the vehicles here have been up for sale many times before as owners try to dump their rapidly depreciating 'assets' onto an ever-shrinking market.
Excellent preview as always Harry
God that Diablo is glorious. TR also looks a sweet spot between Testarossa and the F512 M which I feel is somewhat ruined by the headlights (although can work in TDF blue). Gorgeous E-Type restomod too that one. Cheers for the walk around Harry 👍🏻
Thank you Harry. Another great video. 😊😊😊
Thanks for bringing us along !
I very much liked most, if not all the cars here, not only the featured cars, but the ones glanced in the background of each shot. However, my pick here would have to be the MKI Jaguar E-Type 4.2 in British racing green, with the beige interior. What a great price estimate too.
This was an epic selection of cars 👍
The rally Mercedes 450 SLC was bought by Patrick Watts of BTC & rally fame & he is in tending to use it!.The car was owned by a longstanding friend Nicky Porter whom I've known since the early 70,s when a group of us were campaigning Cooper S.s in the BARC Hillclimb Championship & Nicky had used the Merc in classic rallying including the recent Lombard/Bath revivals before selling it to Danz Benz,a private Mercedes museum in Kent.Apparently the car had been offered back to Nicky just before being put up for auction.I shall be following it,s future history with interest!
JWW wants that manual mercy 😂😂
EVO made me fall in love with the SL55 when I was teenager. I could actually afford one now… bit tempted.
As usual at a Silverstone auction, a fabulous catalogue of the cars we all love. It always amazes me when these really low mileage cars (Honda S2000 1179m!) turn up! The stunning quad cam V12 E Type needs it's own video and a test drive Harry.👍
That Lotus replica with the Blackbird engine looks very interesting. I reckon I'd take that in preference to a trike any day.
For the man with everything (and a big lawn), how about a Merlin engined leaf blower.😀👍
Fabulous especially the 2 Lamborghinis!
5:15 Is that guy Martin is Merlin engine on the truck there?
I want that AbFab Alfa... What an iconic, but attainable little funcar.
Some wow cars the white jensen ! The lancia 1600 omg
Golden Wonder on the Metro makes me feel hungry
And not a chip on it.
"I wasn't going to show you this" and can't help himself but talk about, this!! Watch the value of the Ferrari 512M shoot up soon, a mate had one and genuinely it's the only car that ever scared me. 5L V12 gated manual, limited to 199mph!!
Great Iconic review as ever.
We all watch and think which one would I buy (but cant) 😄
Love these vids, thanks Harry
A beautiful collection of cars.
I need to find a woman that looks at me the way that Harry looks at a Ford Escort😂
The black Cayman 🤩
Harry is like a kid in a sweet shop, excited by just about everything he sees…
