If you look at Pedro Pascal's performance he acts like someone with no peripheral vision (ie had worn a helmet his entire life). It is subtle but a great detail. His head our body fully engaged, no side glances.

I can’t wait till Din finally paints his armour. The beskar iron’s silver sheen is a fantastic look, but painting armour is a really big Mandalorian tradition that he’s probably not gonna ditch. For those of you who don’t know, colours represent certain things on Mandalore. The colours on someone’s armour can say a lot about not just their loyalties, but the traits and concepts they value most. So Boba’s primary colour scheme is Green= Duty, and Red= Honouring a Parent. In the latest episode, he’s painted one of his pauldron’s Orange= A Lust For Life (which he’d probably have after escaping a Sarlacc, and being stuck on Tatooine for so long).
Edit: apparently Boba’s pauldrons have always been orange; they were just really faded before the paint job?? I always thought they were tan or an off-green or something, but guess I stand corrected XD

I just noticed something watching this video which might help explain Boba's armour change. The armour is connected to some sort of material which holds it all together and on the original suit it was a white sort of colour. As much as i loved seeing the suit in the last episode, the brightness of this material did clash a bit with the darker Tuskan robes he wore. Boba still has the darker robes under his armour, however that material on the armour is now darker and blends in better. So at some point he has been working on his armour, and either replaced or dyed that material, makes sense he would re paint the Beskar whilst he's at it. I also think that since he had been missing for 5 years, he probably feels like he needs to work his way back to the top, but whilst his scratches and scrapes once showed his journey to the top, now they represent his fall from the top. So a fresh paintjob makes sense as he restarts his journey from scratch. Refreshed armour for refreshed Boba

I LOVED it when at the table Mando looked to Mayfield and shook his head slightly, trying to convince him not to fire. We wouldn’t have had that with the helmet on. And I agree with everybody else - Bill Burr’s performance was riveting. A really, really great scene, one of the best of any series this year.

Also wonder if season 3 is going to become "the mandalorian's" and feature Boba fett or Bo Katan in more major roles.

The way it works with the mandalorian creed is the re'solnaire (probably spelled it wrong). It's the 6 things one gotta do to be mandalorian. Follow the way of the mandalor, always wearing (at least some) parts of armor, honor and protect Clan and family, follow the mandalor into battle, speaking (or at least knowing how to speak) the mando language and raising ones kids in the way of the mandalor. If jango did all of this with boba (and in legends he does) then yes, boba is a mandalorian by heritage.

Another episode to love!! I really wondered if Mando was going to take off his helmet to get the info needed & HE DID!!! Another example of the depth of his love for Grogu!! Willing to do WHATEVER IT TAKES...WHATEVER IT TAKES (...Captain America would be proud!!)!! I worried that Bill Burr was just going to be snarky in this episode but he actually gave some "flesh" to his character. You realize that he's not just selfish but actually trying to survive. I'm also happy that the ladies were helping to keep Mando & Mayfield alive with sharpshooter skills!!! And of course can't forget Boba Fett taking out those TIE fighters with the seismic charge!! I seriously am worried for Mando. I don't want him to die & I want him back in a spaceship of his own again!! He's not a cowboy without his horse!!!

Clean, newly painted armour means a new action figure. And yeah. I do wonder if it's in Pedro's contract that he gets to take the helmet off at least once a season. I really loved Mando doing the old Liam Neeson in Taken, homicidal dad speech. The fact that he used Moff Stache's own words against him made it even better.
