    Could'nt hear anything almost. The audio is so pathetically poor. Must be it had very intellectual preaching. It would have been better if you were careful about the quality of the video.

      Sorry sir but I cannot agree with you on this one... the audio might not be perfect but it is NOT pathetically poor. Speaking of 'intellectual preaching', if you could not hear anything and you just assumed that there was preaching of some kind here, shouldn't you have been somewhere else then? Or were you just curious to find out what was being 'preached'? You surely didn't hear almost any of it, as you yourself claimed, for if you would have heard more than what you did, then maybe you would then have been able to counter some of the preachings with your own arguments (which I might add are most welcome). Who likes to get preached?! You're absolutely spot on sir. I only cannot understand what made you assume that whatever was spoken by Prof. Sanjoy Mukhopadhyay in this video can be called 'intellectual preaching'. It is not of much consequence to us what you assumed sir- don't get the wrong idea. We are pretty sure of our content and the pedigree of our speaker. Maybe you are not and you are entitled to your views. However, we consider it a matter of decency to 'listen' first and then give a label. If you could not listen, and if you had only written about this technical fault, we would have just requested you to kindly use a headphone if possible. Another thing makes us wonder whether at all you wanted to hear this or wanted to write an adverse comment no matter what (for some reason better known to you). And that is the last word of your comment. You began your comment by saying that the audio is poor and ended it by saying that the video should have been better. Well, please do think about it is all we can say. The reply to your comment is already quite long, but it would be wrong on our part if we end this without wishing you a speedy recovery.

      @@sudebsinha2900 Seems U are over agitated & for that the reply is long. However, I didn't mean anything mean. May be I should'nt have said"preaching". Actually, in this dark period, talks on such topic seemed to me utopian. May be that led me to use that word. However, the video could'nt be heard. See if it can be improved.

      @@tapanmajumdar7106 So are we right in assuming that you, sir, are of the firm belief that Nabarun Bhattacharya and his works are irrelevant in these dark times, so that a talk on 'such topic' seems utopian to you? Let me remind you that this you say without even hearing the talk! To us and for many who have read his works, he is more relevant now than ever before. Anyway, as we mentioned earlier- everyone is entitled to his/her views. And we take your kind advice. No questions asked. We shall certainly look to improve our audio quality in our upcoming videos.

      @@sudebsinha2900 No, I did never say it is irrelevant. But it's absolutely my view that such things,no doubt classical, seems kind of utopia. We may go on talking/listening about such classy things however base the situation is. That appears to me to be alienated . Lastly, I really don't know how U could know that I haven't heard it!!

    • @sudebsinha2900
      @sudebsinha2900  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@tapanmajumdar7106 And we really don't know how to assume otherwise when you yourself said that you 'couldn't hear almost anything' because of the pathetically poor audio!!! It is hard to comprehend why anyone would go on hearing the entire thing for 36 odd minutes (as you now said in your last comment) if he wasn't able to hear properly, especially when whatever he could hear gave him the impression that it was too classy (whatever that means) or preachy or utopian. You admit Nabarun Bhattacharya is relevant. Should revisiting literary and cultural stalwarts through the eyes of scholars/critics of national and international repute be stopped because of the pandemic and other political and economic issues? Is that what you're indicating sir? If so, then we are sorry to inform you that Drishya does not believe so. People have not stopped going to work and eating because of the pandemic, have they? Surely there are graver issues at hand but there are numerous platforms and forums where they are being addressed directly. But we do not think our attempt is in any way less important. We think it is important that you are made aware of this sir, for there are other viewers too who may be sharing your view and they may be reading these comments. We at Drishya have always propagated a culture wherein contemporary problems are viewed through the lens of art/literature/theatre/cinema. The other thing that we have completely skipped mentioning is this: it was Nabarun Bhattacharya's birth anniversary we were celebrating. The lockdown was on at that time as far as we can remember. Otherwise we would have organized a programme at some venue. It would have been nice to meet you and know you personally sir. Thank you for your kind suggestions.
