  • Now we have 2 new controllers and new motor face plate as well.
It was brought to our attention that our new dual bolt pattern motor only requires a file to fit it.
Here we show how easy it is.

Fantastic kit I just installed this kit and it was perfect runs so good! I’d like to see a taig conversion kit, or I may just buy a motor from you and make the rest! Either way I love your stuff!

These servo motors are great. I replaced the old motor on my ancient, beat up lathe, and now I've got instant speed control. The motor has plenty of power for the lathe, and is probably close to the same power as the old one. So handy!

I just ordered an upgrade motor kit for my junk Harbor Freight 7x14 mini lathe. I have accumulated a bunch of other upgrade parts for this septic hole lathe. I will see if I can make it a decent small lathe for small parts. Wish me luck!

Nice. I have a mini vertical mill and a mini lathe that I plan on converting to CNC. These sewing machine motors are over double the power output and rpm of the stock motors.

Buying and converting a sewing machine motor from the right manufacturer will get you close. Thing is, they are sewing machine motors and built with that in mind.
Their programing and hardware is wrong. In particular, the Hall Effect Speed control. This is magnetic and attracts metal filings. When it shorts from said filings, it will smoke everything. Making it run with a pot can be done and depending on your skill, you can achieve fairly good control. Still 5K is too low and 10K is too high. It is also nearly impossible to achieve CNC control. Our new controllers are built for machine conversion. No hall sensor speed switch. Programed and wired for a std 10K pot. The speed signal is a standard 0 to 5 volts. Stop/start/reverse are simple on/off switches. This simplify's CNC conversion. However make sure you use an isolation board or you will still let the smoke out of everything.

Does this work with the Wen model 33013? Says it has the same spindle as other mini mills from LMS
