    I have one. It does a good job. I used to use my backpack leaf blower, and this satisfy’s my needs for a small handheld I can keep in my cargo hatch for whenever I want to wash my car.

    Looks so cool! For me, it's one of those tools that I have to ask myself do I REALLY need one? Hmm.. 😏

    I have been considering one . Im already into the ryobi line . Is it as strong as a leaf blower? No . Ofcourse not . 220 cfm . Its not marketed as such . Its not really marketed toward detailing either but .... for small size , one handed use it goes great with a towel to blow out cracks and crevices after initial towel drying.

    I’d recommend the Ego blower it’s a bit more expensive but worth it!

    I bought this after seeing several youtubers showcasing it. I absolutely love it. Works great. I ordered the battery converter on amazon for $15 so i could use my dewalt batteries with it.

    This will be a sweet addition to my existing Ryobi ecosystem! I have a large Ryobi leafblower I had been using for the car but I would like something smaller and less wieldy like this that still gets the job done.

    I haven't found any electric blower that is powerful enough for me to fully dry my car in a reasonable timeframe. Even with a brand new ceramic coating it just takes too long. I just use them to quickly blow out seams edges to avoid drips, then towel dry with a detail spray over large panels. This one is great because I can hold a towel in one hand and the blower in the other comfortably while run around the vehicle. For its size and price it is pretty powerful and I can get around my vehicle in 2-3 minutes. It also comes in handy around the house. I use it to sweep my hard floors, I can get under stuff and in corners much easier. I blow everything to one corner and sweep it up. It takes 1/10th the time and does a better job. If you have ryobi 18v batteries and are looking for a blower, skip the larger, more powerful models. They just eat the battery charge faster and don't do a much better job. If you want to blow dry completely I wouldn't consider anything that isn't 40-80v. Though at that point I would look into corded models as they are much cheaper.

      You haven't used an EGo blower then. They're great if you catch them on sale it's worth the price.

    • @noahnovotny2100

      @@Th4tGuyLondon ego, green works, dewalt, Milwaukee. They all take too long for what they cost. About half the year I need to use self service washes for running water here in mn and I can’t spend 10 minutes drying the car while people wait, even in my garage it is a bit long. That’s not even taking into account the price. Obviously to each their own, but I haven’t had any trouble with marring using twist loop microfiber towels and this little blower

    Looks solid Jimbo. I've been using a Ryobi leaf blower to dry over the past few years, which works but is a bit awkward. This is now on the list...

    I just got one a few days ago and it is pretty good for drying your car but it is super loud and high pitched. My ears suffered at the end. Not sure if I just got a loud one or if they are all that loud.

    I saw they also make a battery powered sprayer for things like clay or waterless wash. Probably uses the same battery.

    we use drying aids to lesson the chance of maring also if you blow all the time you are leaving mineral deposits on the surface. doing both blow & dry with drying lube for the win.

    Why not just use a Ryobi Jet Fan Leaf Blower? Much more powerful, gas powered, and can blow out a garage, yard, driveway, etc.

    Doesn’t look very powerful. If it was really powerful, you would see it move much more water off the car much quicker.

    • @Spacedog_42
      @Spacedog_42 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s pretty powerful compared to the old RYOBI workshop blower.
      As for blowing water off car, it depends what coating is on the car to begin with. If the car isn’t coated, it will make the blower look like crap, but on ceramic coated car it works really well.
