When I first got to the territory I didn't have the quest unlocked, so for like 20 minutes straight I just farmed enemies.

I did it without the armor. It was just like playing AC

It is a mongol armor you get in Jogaku temple

How do you unlock this mission unfinished business

To unlock the mission, I believe you need to rescue Taka from Azamo Bay. The name of that main quest is The Broken Blacksmith. After you complete the quest the side mission should appear in your Tales of Tsushima.

I posted the answer in the video before this one on my channel. There is a side quest called “Fit For The Khan” and you will have to liberate certain areas and in the end of them you may have to fight a commander and take their armor when defeated
