So much stuff I didn't know, that you just taught me. And I played and beat this game in 2020, and just recently started again last week and completed it again on ps5 this time. Thanks a bunch. The stamina running trick, pampas grass fire trick, dance of wrath to travel faster outside of combat, infinite silk trick, etc are all life savers !
I've been following you ever since getting into Horizon Zero Dawn on PC for a couple months now. The amount of work, detail, & crucial tips you offer is unmatched by other YT'ers. I was hoping you would start similar guides for GoT as well. Any plans for doing LIVE lethal playthrough runs?
Hey thanks! I appreciate your kind words 🙏🏼🙂 I wasn’t planning to do live streams for Ghost, but maybe once I’m done with my current stream playthrough of Forbidden West I could.
The iki island charms are fire. Poison arrow build The infinite arrow recycling build The fire Sword induce terror build The tank build The low HP, high damage build High Resolve recharge build.
Another helpful tip: When hunting Sashimono banners (and Sakai banners), using focused hearing will highlight the banner from a good distance away. This is very helpful when they're behind doors, rock walls, below or above you behind objects, etc. Using this trick plus using traveler's attire to have the lightning bug guide you really helps. Also for new players, the traveler's attire gives you the ability to track banners with guiding wind.
DISCLAIMER: The infinite silk and leather glitch does not work if you have completed the ghost forest quest. To be specific the glitch doesn't fail, there's just no more silk and leather anymore if you've completed the quest
God bless you! The problem with so many people making content is they don’t know how to edit and make a 10 minute video about a single thing that should be 30 seconds. There is no fat on your content!

I actually learned a lot from this video. Never knew about the blade trick to cross rivers or light grass on fire. Like, how do people find this stuff out?
Lighting grass on fire is mentioned in Sensei Ishikawa's 4 out of 9 quest when you are holding a Cliffside position against oncoming Mongols. Ishikawa and Jin discuss luring Mongols into the tall grass and lighting it ablaze, and that's when Sensei Ishikawa gives the player fire arrows
Ok, I missed out on the silk exploit. Thank you for showing me this, I think I will restart my game to not have to force myself to finish the game 3 times just to upgrade all my armors up to the highest level.
It is videos like yours that make me want to play a game again. I went back through Forbidden West for a 3rd time after seeing your combat techniques video. Well done!
It has Haptic Feedback but only for using the grappling hook to pull down some Bamboo walls that hide secret entrances. you first use it on Iki I believe. Also the Bow has a mild amount of haptic feedback but on PC the dualsense must be wired.
What a dream. Finally I have time again to play videogames. Played Zero Dawn. After that Forbidden West. And this is when I found Arktix and his amazing content. Now I almost finished HFW and I‘m about to start Ghost of Tsushima. And just in time Arktix starts with creating content. Thank you for the amazing content
The game shows you the burning grass thing in one of the first missions with the archery master, you guys need to pay attention to these games. I see this over and over again in all the big open world games: things I wish I knew earlier, and then there is tons of stuff the game explicitly tells/teaches you in the beginning.
@@stephengeier7918 Thank you. I see this over and over again. And people even comment stuff like "yeah great tips" Since the GTA games on PS2 open world games have tutorials and people seem to ignore halt the stuff they're told. I've seen so many people act annoyed and bored by the tutorial part and click all the tips away as fast as possible and then only use the main attack button and wonder why they struggle with certain missions. People play GoT by just attacking with stagger the whole time and never use all the beautiful dodges and parries you can do and don't switch stances between the different attackers.
Figured out the dodge to continue sprinting recently. Another near thing is instant sheath by flicking bow aim. Also cancelling any combo at any point by tapping block and beginning something else xD
Also quick tip when it comes to running without stopping. If you press the touchpad to go into enhanced hearing but start sprinting immediately after you’ll keep running without stopping and it resets how long you can go. If done successfully your screen will go grey for a split second while running
Tip that you learn in Iki Island through a side quest but can definitely use at any point is that if you're in a dark area and need to light up the area you can equip either fire or explosive arrows and use them like torchs while aimed
tips!! when you ride a horse and jump down high enough, usually you will fall with your horse and take long animation to get up. but you can skip that by pushing jump button right before horses feet touch the ground.😊
Look, I’m not the type to say I’m the best at anything, but Ghost of Tsushima is my favorite game of all time. I am definitely a GoT expert, in most respects. So I want to snuff out the incorrect info in the video, you did a great job but you’ve fallen for a few of the normal misconceptions. 1. The Ghost Flowers are a reward for all things, you do not need to complete something first. If you haven’t already done something that rewards ghost flowers, you simply will get all the normal rewards plus the ghost flowers on the side. 2. You can definitely get enough silk to upgrade all armors in one playthrough, though it takes thorough work and finding all silk-rewarding cases, plus your silk farming technique is absolutely ingenious, I never would have thought of that. 3. Once you fully upgrade your Tachi and Tanto, you have no further use for iron, steel, and gold. You don’t carry materials over to NG+ so it’s useless saving them for the next playthrough where it adds another upgrade level to everything. So once you have fully kitted out your blades, switch from selling Bamboo to Iron and Steel, and Gold if you don’t need it. Iron sells for 15 a pop I think, and you quickly load up on it if you get your upgrades early. 4. It may be best for people to know that the Sarugami Armor is only the best in the game if you’ve perfected your perfect parrying, because it completely removes the ability to basic parry, leaving you to rely on dodge, perfect dodge, and that sweet, oh-so-satisfying perfect parry. If you are less keen on the absolutely sick armor and its crazy high risk/high reward focus, the best armor in the game for pure open combat is arguably between Samurai, Sakai Clan, and Gosaku. I personally think the Sakai Armor is the best open combat armor solely due to the crazy standoff streak bonus. Gosaku’s armor is cool but if you’re a simple person like me, you can’t go wrong with the Samurai Armor, its stats are stupidly good once you fully upgrade it (outright unstoppable in NG+) and it just looks so classic and awesome. 5. I highly recommend against doing Iki until kitting yourself out. Iki Island is loaded with people that will kick your everloving ass if you’re not a person that’s done a no-hit run for every difficulty. So upgrade you Tachi, Tanto, the armor you use the most, and try to finish the game first if you care about the narrative. This DLC was meant for players who’ve finished the game, therefore it’s meant for players who’ve got their stuff. Perks, upgrades, stats, and of course skill. But if you are up to the challenge go ahead. 6. If you are out hunting for supplies and predator hides, always wear your Charm of Inari. Now your predator hide income is doubled, therefore more stabby stabs to throw at people and more smoke bombs to toss and giggle maniacally while running away. The Longbow with explosive arrows absolutely destroys bears, and this isn’t RDR2 so you don’t gotta worry about ruining the pelt for choosing the lazy way to hunt. Bears, Boars, and Bankhar Dogs all drop predator hides, bears dropping the most. 7. For GoT, only ever look at video guides. A lot of websites spoil the game for some reason. This guy abstains from even minor spoilers, and most youtubers that make content about this game follow suit. Anyway, sorry for the essay, just wanted to point out some things that will help people, I tried to make less important stuff in the deeper parts so that anybody who doesn’t care about the advice enough to read all of it will see the good stuff early on into my freaking speech lol.
11:31 i believe playing certain flute songs changers the weather and time of day if i remember correctly. That and there should be some variables u can change when u go into photo mode. Time of day being one of them Nvm should have waited a minute lol
Ghost of Tsushima might just be one of my favorite games of all time. I played it twice at release on PS4, twice when it got remastered for PS5, and once again I'm playing it now on PC. The only issue I've ever had with it in terms of gameplay is that R2 is used for both, changing stance, and interacting with items. Some times in the middle of combat it will prioritize looting over changing stance which can get a bit frustrating and mess up your flow. I noticed that in this video the prompt for interacting with items is actually triangle, is there a way to separate the two commands into different key bindings?
FYI, if you do the side quest "Whispers in the woods", the silk spawn disappears. Is the quest in which you have to kill some bandits that are exactly in that camp (3:35). So, for now I'm skipping that quest because that silk farming method is awesome.
Such a great video! Just got started and it’s quickly becoming one of my favorite games. What is the location from this video where you’re jumping from that super high spot, swinging from the tree then falling to the bright blue water far below?
Glad you’re enjoying Ghost! Hope you found the tips helpful 😁 The Zero Dawn remaster is coming soon anyway, so maybe good to get back to it after that!
@@ArktixOfficial I did, thank you.. all in all, I appreciate your tone, pacing, and editing.. Keep doing what you're doing and thank you for the Tsushima vids.
Now having a linen farm silk farm and there's also a predator hide farm at rushing water crossing a mongel camp. Just don't kill the people there because two bears spawn. Run in collect and run out travel to nearby inari shrine and repeat. You get about 20/run with inari charm. Instant max ghost weapons is pretty freaking awesome!
Hey Arktix, do you think you could do a best builds video (Which outfit and charms combo to use) ? Love ur Horizon videos btw, they were rlly helpful. Thanks !
You can upgrade everything well before a full playthru by doing iki island. I like to do it as soon as act 2 opens up for the mats, horse armor and imo the best armor set in the game
Great video. Is there anyway to increase the camera sensitivity? I put it at its highest and even put the drift compensation option and it’s still not that high.
Thank you! Unfortunately, I don’t think you can make the camera move any faster. I’d also like it a bit faster, but I don’t think there’s a way to do it on PlayStation. On PC it would all depend on how fast you move your mouse of course.
There's stuff you can't get unless you play a new game+ There's a new vendor that has gear and charms you can't get unless you play thru again. Some of these charms are incredibly useful too.
TFW you commented a fun combat tip on the previous Ghost of Tsushima video, and then it's THE VERY FIRST TIP mentioned in this video. And it's also mentioned AGAIN at the end of the video. Also, I can confirm from experience that as long as you do all the side quests and clear out all the Mongol camps and stuff, it is entirely possible to fully upgrade not just your armors, but all your gear, in one playthrough. Same with unlocking all the skills.
It’s a great tip! Yeah I saw you commented that. Wanted to mention it because people seem to forget about Ishikawa teaching it to you during one of his quests.
I'm watching a youtuber play Ghost of Tsushima. People in the comment section are saying to avoid doing the DLC until AFTER the main story. They say it spoils the main story. Of course it doesn't and they try to tell me I'm wrong for suggesting to do the DLC before the end of Act 2. I'm so glad I did the DLC at that time.
im finishin a 100% first play through. If you want to 100% iki island you need the ghost armor so i would recommend doing iki right after getting ghost and re- unlocking area 2
Bonus tip: it's NOT impossible to get enough silk to upgrade every armor in a single playthrough. Uploader is creating false problems to justify a solution (not that this exploit isn't helpful.) I upgrades everything to max aaaages ago and I'm maybe 3/4 the way through the game.
If you on pc and ever have a problem that your pad starts vibrating when you shoot the bow and it turns off you might start doing circles or your camera starts spinning just turn off the vibration in pad settings
The biggest tip before any of the loot parts in your video would be to get The Charm Of Inari. You should've mentioned that first before anything else. This charm more than doubles nearly everything you loot and can be obtained within the first act of the game. Do NOT miss this

@@ArktixOfficialhonestly, I completely forgot.
it's just a way of making content with that title to make you curious and you can watch this video considering it a tips and tricks video. so dont think he really means that he wish he knew that bla bla kid
@@ArktixOfficial Do you play in lethal mode? Its the only fun way to play
My current playthrough, which is my second, is on lethal yeah. The first time I played I started on hard and then switched to lethal.
The iki island charms are fire.
Poison arrow build
The infinite arrow recycling build
The fire Sword induce terror build
The tank build
The low HP, high damage build
High Resolve recharge build.
Is the Iki island free?

Another helpful tip:
When hunting Sashimono banners (and Sakai banners), using focused hearing will highlight the banner from a good distance away.
Correct. Breaks it. Found out too late :(
@@twaters3282 really should have been said that it's quest sensitive

I guess this answers my question. Just went to the spot to do it and there is nothing there. :(
I noticed that too, need to farm all you need at once ;)
I love your videos. They are straight to the point, and they are about so many of the games I love.
Thank you! Glad to hear you enjoy them 😄
God bless you! The problem with so many people making content is they don’t know how to edit and make a 10 minute video about a single thing that should be 30 seconds. There is no fat on your content!
Thank you! I do try to keep all the fluff out. Glad you appreciate it!
The first one was genius, brother! I had not seen it anywhere before. Will try to use it!
Best use of chimes + fire. Can't wait to spam this trick.
Glad you liked that one 😁 Have fun!
Oh yeah!! 🎉@@1957DLT
I just started Playing last week. Thanks for no spoilers. I had no clue about the flute trick! Maybe it said it and I didn't notice...
That has to be the best list of tips ive seen in a loooong while!
These are really really good . I have just finished my normal playthrrough and doing a ng+ now . That loadout fact is gonna save a lot of time
Hey thanks! Glad you found the tips helpful even for a NG+ run 😁
the first point was really mentioned in the mission of Ishikawa where we get half bow while surveying the area of how to execute the Mongols
Yup! A lot of people seem to forget about it though.
Thanks for another great video! So good to see how much and how fast the channel has grown. Almost 30k views in only a day is amazing! Much deserved!
Thank you Brian! 🙏🏼 Seeing your comments always makes me smile 🙂 I really appreciate your support!
Thanks for these! love your Horizon vids. Been following you since you were small time before HFW came out. I’ve been wanting to replay Ghost for awhile now, so stoked when I saw your name pop up, and recent vids at that! You truly give quality content. Keep up the stellar work!!
Hey thanks! I really appreciate your support all this time 😄🙏🏼 Glad you enjoy the videos and I hope you’re having fun with your new playthrough of Ghost!
I loved all your videos on both Horizons so I can’t express how happy I am to jump into Tsushima and find you also have guides on them. Please keep them coming!
First time ever playing the game. I just discovered the white dye merchant. Didn’t even know there would be a black one. Thank you
I actually learned a lot from this video.
I have never watched a tips video more informative and better than this video I will 💯 percent subscribe
(Thank you for the amazing video)
Ok, I missed out on the silk exploit. Thank you for showing me this, I think I will restart my game to not have to force myself to finish the game 3 times just to upgrade all my armors up to the highest level.
It is videos like yours that make me want to play a game again.
I went back through Forbidden West for a 3rd time after seeing your combat techniques video.
Well done!
Just tried the silk trick in yagata forest and it still works! Thank you 😊
What would be very nice to have in this game is haptic feedback from the triggers
It has Haptic Feedback but only for using the grappling hook to pull down some Bamboo walls that hide secret entrances. you first use it on Iki I believe. Also the Bow has a mild amount of haptic feedback but on PC the dualsense must be wired.
3:30 i'm pretty sure its possible to get all outfit upgrades in one playthrough. You can also look if trappers sell you silk.
Try the Arkham series some of my favorite games and Spider-Man 1 as well
The game shows you the burning grass thing in one of the first missions with the archery master, you guys need to pay attention to these games. I see this over and over again in all the big open world games: things I wish I knew earlier, and then there is tons of stuff the game explicitly tells/teaches you in the beginning.
I didn't know how to block in ff7 remake until I was halfway through the game lol
@@LoneStarVII Did they explain it in the beginning of the game? Otherwise it's not really your fault
My exact thoughts
@@stephengeier7918 Thank you. I see this over and over again. And people even comment stuff like "yeah great tips" Since the GTA games on PS2 open world games have tutorials and people seem to ignore halt the stuff they're told. I've seen so many people act annoyed and bored by the tutorial part and click all the tips away as fast as possible and then only use the main attack button and wonder why they struggle with certain missions. People play GoT by just attacking with stagger the whole time and never use all the beautiful dodges and parries you can do and don't switch stances between the different attackers.
You are definitely on the spectrum. There are tips people miss, and it sounds like you're obsessing over this day and night
all the setting tricks helped me so much you’re a life saver man, definitely earned a subscriber!
I have over 70 hours in the game and you pointed out several tricks I had no clue about, thanks dude!!
Nice! I’ll have to give that a try.
Thank you very much for these tips! Especially the silk one; I needed it so bad!
Time of day being one of them
Nvm should have waited a minute lol
R1 and R2 for heavy and light attacks is such a For Honor setting alike heheh
Thank you so much for these useful tips and tricks. Cheers! :))
You’re very welcome! Thanks for your comment 😄
The resave doesn’t work
That outfit class tip saved me so much time thanks bro ❤
Ghost of Tsushima might just be one of my favorite games of all time. I played it twice at release on PS4, twice when it got remastered for PS5, and once again I'm playing it now on PC. The only issue I've ever had with it in terms of gameplay is that R2 is used for both, changing stance, and interacting with items. Some times in the middle of combat it will prioritize looting over changing stance which can get a bit frustrating and mess up your flow. I noticed that in this video the prompt for interacting with items is actually triangle, is there a way to separate the two commands into different key bindings?
Damn when I started playing horizon2 on pc, I found this channel and now whilest I'm stating goT on pc he pops up again nice
FYI, if you do the side quest "Whispers in the woods", the silk spawn disappears. Is the quest in which you have to kill some bandits that are exactly in that camp (3:35). So, for now I'm skipping that quest because that silk farming method is awesome.
Thank you for all this info. Just started playing 3 days ago.
I haven't enjoyed a game this much since Witcher 3.
these are actually very useful tips. 👍 Not like any other " YT video tips" that I already know.
Thanks! Glad you found them useful 😁
Such a great video! Just got started and it’s quickly becoming one of my favorite games. What is the location from this video where you’re jumping from that super high spot, swinging from the tree then falling to the bright blue water far below?
7:33 in the video :)
Thanks for the upload, Arktix! I had to put Horizon zero dawn on hold to play this and it's WELL worth it.. This game is absolutely solid.
Hey thanks a lot! I appreciate your support 🙏🙂
Started playing this game today :) Thanks for hints and tips now I have to retrain my old brain after doing AC games for so long
Now having a linen farm silk farm and there's also a predator hide farm at rushing water crossing a mongel camp.
On PC it would all depend on how fast you move your mouse of course.
i just recently started playing this game and i’m so hooked bro when i first downloaded the game i sat down and played for 8 hours straight 💀
i’m doing NG+ run right now to platinum it, so i’ll use these!
I really love how this video is about how to enjoy the game instead of how to be good at it
3:30 Its possible to get it all in one playthrough. Did it on hard, had generally everything before the DLC and Final boss.
Oh good to know thanks! I guess it’s just an issue in NG+ now then.
Yup, this i can confirm. I upgraded all the armors before DLC and final boss.
There's stuff you can't get unless you play a new game+
There's a new vendor that has gear and charms you can't get unless you play thru again. Some of these charms are incredibly useful too.
I`m a huge fan of the black dye, it looks awesome imo.
Damn Arktix do you have a list of my all time favorite PS4 titles or something? As always outstanding content.
Thanks! Haha. What can I say? Great minds think alike 😁
It literally does spoil it multiple times, it talks about how your uncle died and you killed the khan
I wish I knew about that load out one 😂
I was changing charms and armor like some speed runner, switching really quickly
THANKS FOR THE HEADS UP!!!

Thanks, Norma! Hopefully my recommendation on going to Iki early was balanced. Thanks for your input on that!
I finished my first ever playthrough and I have everything. Every Armour, Weapon, Throwable, Upgrades, etc.
A tips video that actually give useful tips 👌🏽
Bonus tip: it's NOT impossible to get enough silk to upgrade every armor in a single playthrough. Uploader is creating false problems to justify a solution (not that this exploit isn't helpful.)
I upgrades everything to max aaaages ago and I'm maybe 3/4 the way through the game.
Do NOT miss this
Yup! Mentioned it in my other video that I linked at the end of this one.
