Yes; both are critical to a productive day. And because rest and restoration are productive, I plan non-workdays. It helps me to use my free time well. In the past, i would be disappointed to have lounged so much that I didn’t do more intentional things like enjoy my hobbies or go to the beach.
Thank you for sharing. Yes to both; they are critical to accomplishing most of what I set out to do. I was guilty of being good at making lists but not prioritizing, then feeling busy but less productive. Prioritizing and time blocking for the win.
Doing things at a certain time doesn't work for me unless it's a doctor's appointment or call I have to take for work. So, what works for me is writing things out that I want to accomplish for the day. I have a small desk calendar that I fill in regarding the things I want to get done. It's visible enough for me to keep reviewing and it helps me stay on top of my tasks for the day. Then on Saturday, I start a new list of "to dos" for the following week. For example, on Monday I read my devotional, hit the gym or workout at home, do some laundry, cook n go thru bills. There's no particular order or set time to do these things, I just write it down so it can get accomplished on that day. Then Tuesday - Sunday, I have another list of "to dos" written down as well to get accomplished. I do this every day as well as put the important tasks in my phone calendar. This works best for me, it keeps me on track and it also helps me give myself grace. And on one of those days throughout the week or month, I schedule some type of self-care! ❤
I do this but I use a paper planner to write my to do lists and I use Google calendar to schedule my tasks and meetings. I like to use Google because it’s easy to move things around, and I get notifications ( on my phone and laptop) every time it’s time to switch to a new task.
Our planning styles are very similar. I use the happy planner dashboard layout and use the left side for personal/home and the right side for work. I'm a financial analyst so seeing the whole week on one page definitely helps. Love the 3 goal idea. I'm sure I can find a way to squeeze that on there. Time blocking the night before makes soo much sense. Excellent idea. Sorry for the long comment- K ❤
I switched to the Blue Sky Day Designer Everygirl Planner. It has goal for the month section as well as a monthly review. The days are set up for top 3 priorities, it is set up with time blocking. In the back of the planner has a tab called resources where it has different lists of things regarding self care, affirmations, other things to help with taking care of your mental health. There is an are that talks about setting goals. There is a two sided pocket page that is sturdy. This has helped me to plan with a purpose and to be more accountable with my time. I never realized the point of time blocking style of planning until switching to this planner also the way you are demonstrating it in your video is such a great example. I am so thankful I found your channel. I hit subscribe because it is rare to find a time blocking style planner person on here. It is usually people who just throw stickers all over, not that it is a bad thing but I likely see how people are actually using planners to be accountable for their time so I can learn a few things so I can improve. Thank you so much. You are appreciated.
Im impressed! It feels like I’ve tried every strategy you mentioned in this video: time blocking, daily big 3… list after list 😅 but PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER LIKE THIS is like… 🤯 it looks so effective that feel like I already nailed tomorrow 🤭 thank youu
OMG! I had a feeling!!!! You kept mentioning a sorority…..Heyyy my sorority sister! 🎉 Your videos came across my feed yesterday and I have been binge watching them! Thank you for these so much, I just turned a milestone not even a month ago and just trying to really focus on fine tuning a lot of myself; whether it’s skincare, stretching daily, taking time out of me and really focus on the things that bring me joy and fill my cup! Thank you for sharing! 😊 I hope you are doing well 🫶🏽 Also I do have a planner-I use cloth and paper and I was looking at the focus wellness planner as well that you mentioned! 🥰
This definitely helps - thank you! Also meal planning for meals/snacks is helpful. I'd like a version for those of us who work from/stay at home, need to be more productive, and incorporate cleaning/home maintenance daily. Thanks again!

Same i’m coming up on 5 years. It is my fave planner and I’m loving the wellness version. I do have another video already on how I planned my week with the wellness planner 🥰
Thank you for this content. You come across as a super-efficient woman who knows the A-Z of productivity and more importantly you have figured out the system to get it all done! I look forward to watching your videos and learning. Question - is your Weekly Big 3 tasks that you have to do every day?
Do you currently use time blocking or a planner? Comment below!

Great idea for the digital fans!
This is how I got through nursing school, but I’m feeling like I need this in every day life as well.
I would start with a few days a week and see how it goes.

Great video! Curious… do you time block your weekends?
Sometimes but not often not. I look at my to-dos though.

I have a weekly Big 3 and a Daily Big 3. My daily is tied to my weekly. I have a video of part 1 linked in the description that covers that 🥰
Tfs Diaka 💕 💚 I was wearing that same sweatshirt last wk.
I will try timeblocking more often. I usually only use it on super busy days.
Let me know how it goes!
This was so helpful
Thank you glad it helped.
Awesome, that was very helpful. Looking forward to incorporating this over the next few days. I’m guilty of making lists as well 😅

What pen are you using? Thanks for the helpful video
Unibal Air 1.0 in blue. i only write with this or the Sharpie SGel 1.0 😫
How do you feel about apps like Me+ you can write down the to do and put a time on it. Or is there any app you suggest?
Not familiar with Me+ will have to check it out.I think Google tasks could be useful I just prefer pen to paper.

Do you prefer the wellness version or the standard version ?
I have had the original for 4 years. I’m really enjoying the wellness but it’s very similar to the original.
