    The brain dumping exercise has been something I've added to my Mental Health toolbox. Its amazing how many thoughts and especially worries can flood your mind. When i look at what I've written, about 80% of it is ... nonsense. The devil is always busy by trying to disrupt the mind and consequently affecting our sleep, our ability to enjoy our day or activities and events. Even make you question your own existence! Yeah, brain dumping is very eye opening for me.

      Yes it is. I love mine because I use it to measure sleep. Any time I was getting g sick it also gave me a heads up. One thing I will say is that the stats are the stats so if you’re one of those people that’s paranoid it may not be the best purchase, but it does put real life data in your face and help you drive your decision-making.

    Our after school routine is WILD🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️. Some nights we have dance, some nights we have tutoring. Some nights I’m proctoring an online exam, some nights I couldn’t finish all the work I wanted to do so I (choose to really) work to get ahead. -I don’t like tons of emails flowing over to the next day. I put my phone on DND between 4-6 because that is our homework time. I am trying to get dinner eaten around 5:30/6 and I am trying to get baths taken at 7 and bedtime at 8. We are getting better at it. I am considering going back to eating dinner while at dance or tutoring for the children who aren’t in that particular activity on that night. My morning routine suffers because I don’t go to bed. I’d LOVE anyone’s thoughts on how they FORCE themselves to go to bed (for me the goal is bath at 8 and bed at 9-10 would probably be more realistic) because when these children go to bed my mind instantly focuses on doing all I couldn’t do for work or lingering YT videos to watch and then it easily becomes a very late night and coffee doesn’t help the next day because I simply sleep deprived. I love working out. When the new year started I stopped forcing myself to try and run and lift and do hot yoga because it has become too much. So I’m now doing the yoga only for my brain to function well because that is my immediate need and I’ll revisit in some months down the road. I’d rather workout in the morning because my day is too unpredictable as it goes on. What has helped with work (because I had to shift my priorities and realize I’m a mother first, well I’m a person first then wife then mother…then I’m a worker) is I have started in those final minutes at work stopping early and planning for the next day. That is a game changer instead of working up until the last minute. Your videos are great and relatable. 🫶🏾🙏🏾

    Thank you for making this video. I am personally struggling with finding time to workout now that I recently went back to work and I have to be in the office at 7am and pick my kids up right after work. I prefer to workout in the morning not evening after my kids go down at 8pm. Do you have any suggestions? Also I am looking for some delicious healthy breakfast and lunch options during this winter season. I like warm foods when it’s cold out. Any suggestions there as well?

    I say I am not a morning person but however I do motivate myself every MWF with by paying for a HIIT training class that’s not included in my gym membership and holding myself accountable by going at 5am. I’ve been doing it for over 5 years now which helps me stay motivated but I think if I didn’t have the class, I definitely don’t think I would be getting up at 4:15-4:30a for a gym workout.     I feel like my mornings are good! I also feel like my schedules at work aren’t bad. Even though I struggle to actually pull away to take lunches. My evening routine needs work. I doom scroll after dinner and I know there’s time to do much more than what I’m doing. I feel a little guilty about that time though. Not spending it with my husband and kids.     My am routine: I wake at 3 am in order to be out of the house at 5 am. I tead my Bible, drink coffee and journal. When I am showering I listen to a motivational podcast. Then help the kifs get dressed.

      Reading my Bible 1st. Then trying to study for school. Then trying to exercise before l have to be at work at 8am. A lot of times l get so entrenched with reading my Bible I don't get to the school studying, but make it down stairs to the treadmill. I tried to time blocked but it didn't work. So I reversed the studying the Bible before I go to bed.

    I feel like I'm struggling with every section of my day because I am so heavily reliant on other people's schedule! I have to work around my kids schedule, my husband's schedule, my boss's schedule. It's draining. Every part of my life is blending onto each other: doing work stuff at home and doing home stuff at work.

    Love your videos! You nailed it with having a backup plan. That is something I struggle with because I tend to feel off my game when an unscheduled “thing” happens. But with two young kids unscheduled is the norm….so I am definitely going to work on a backup plan. Thank you! P.S. what type of alarm clock do you have - the orange circle?

      It’s off Amazon it’s a cheaper version of the hatch alarm clock.

    My goals are going great! I wanted to get consistent with working out, and so far, so good. Between that and "Ozempic" (tirzepatide), i should reach my goal of being down 30 lbs by the end of the year! 🎉🎉

    Came here from a comment you made on Virginia Kerrs page where you said she helped you so much. I love your channel! I don't know exactly why i chose this video to watch, but I'm glad i did. I have 8 children, three that are out of the house and five aged 7 and under. I am so overwhelmed at home with all the mess and being the only one that actually cleans. Kids help, but I'm not consistent with anything in my life, until i started posting on my channel.... so lol your channel is going to help my life, i do believe. Thank you so much!❤
