This is a rapid assembly semi scale RC powered glider. You just need your transmitter, receiver (minimum 6 channels) and 14.8V 4S 2600-3300 mAh flight battery. Follow the instructions for assembly. Only point I will add is that the grub screw in the elevator fitting should not be removed. Take a new one from the small plastic packet which has the smallest allen key and screw that into the fitting to clamp the provided control rod from the servo into that fitting. Recommend using some thread lock and also tighten up all the other grub screws while you have the allen key in your hand. I tightened up each one an 1/8th of a turn.

The EPO foam fuselage, thoroughly carbon-reinforced, comes with the KAVAN C3548-750 brushless motor, 11x8” folding propeller and KAVAR R-50SB ESC featuring a powerful switching SBEC stabilizer necessary to feed all 6 servos aboard. The detachable canopy is secured with a magnetic lock. The cockpit compartment offers a lot of space for your receiver and flight pack. The elevator and rudder servos are installed in the fin.
The two-piece EPO wing is reinforced by two carbon spars; the root ends of the spars are inserted to aluminium joiner in the fuselage. The wing halves are secured by a nylon bolt. The ailerons and flaps (both reinforced by carbon tubes) are controlled by two pairs of servos installed in the wing driven with short wire push rods.
The EPO horizontal tailplane (both stabilizer and elevator reinforced by carbon tubes) is detachable; secured with two bolts to the fin for an easy transport/storage.
After assembly mark the CG position as stated in the manual and move your flight battery to achieve that balance point. I put my Insta360 GO2 action camera on the horizontal stabiliser so had to move my flight battery all the way to the front but ensured it did not touch the back of the outrunner brushless motor !
This was my second outing with the Twin Shark after a successful couple of maiden flights trimming out for level flight. This made hand launching easy on this occasion as you will see.
In the air this glider has the power to quickly get to altitude but is light enough to float around with very little drop in height as it glides over the landscape. Loops are effortless after a shallow dive to gain some speed. Rolls are unsurprisingly slow and will require elevator when you get to inverted to maintain a roughly axial roll.
Although I had setup 2 stage flaps I didn't need them for landing because of the 15 mph wind. The descent was predictable and I touched down very close to my feet for quick retrieval.
Altogether a very satisfying second flight and I wouldn't hesitate recommending this powered glider to anyone, regardless of skill level, wanting to fly an RC glider. As always I recommend the RadioMaster TX16S transmitter and in this case match it up with an FrSky receiver.
Twin Shark ARTF set contents: EPO fuselage with the brushless motor, 50A ESC, 11x8" folding propeller and 2 servos installed, EPO wing with 4 servos installed, EPO horizontal tailplane, and instruction manual.
    Wing span [mm]: 2700

    Weight [g]: 1950 - 2050
    Wing surface [dm2]: 45
    WHAT I LIKED?
Low part count and everything installed so very rapid assembly
    Scale scheme already applied
Thoughtful how ESC already secured, motor phase wires glued down
    Very rigid for a foamy
    Simple transmitter setup
    Flies light
    Long duration
    Plastic contoured wing tips
    Transport friendly
    Fuselage wheel or skid option
Makes a nice Zzzzing sound on a fast fly by
    WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE?
Tried really hard but couldn't actually think of anything !
Filmed by Dom Mitchell for the 'Essential RC' TH-cam channel using the Panasonic AG-UX180 4K camcorder and Insta360 GO2 at my local model flying club
