Collect, rock hound, explore, dig and hike at your own risk.
Caver461s specimen is aquamarine.
You are correct
the bi colour apatite is gorgeous
The combo red and green Apatite Crystals are always the best finds of the day.
Awesome finds Jeff!!
Glad you enjoyed it.
Nice doubly-terminated calcite crystal, Jeff! Would that have been found at Titanite Hill? There's a really good spot in Quadeville I love, transparent green apatite. My favourite though is Grace Lake for tremolite.
Madoc area.
Nice crystals!
Thanks.
Nice video! Those little cube formations are adorable!
Erongo mtns. Aquamarine crystal.
Aquamarine beryl
are there any freely accessible spots around madoc to dig at or do you need permission from a private land owner?
Madoc is a tough area, most people are not friendly to collector, all I can say is ask nicely and someone might let you check out their property.
Bonne et heureuse année Jeff...
Magnifique vidéo. Belles trouvailles.

In Spring I am back to rockhouding... I know where to find your fluorite spot in Madoc.
Xoxo from Ottawa.
It was an excellent find, thanks.
Madoc is a great spot if you know where to look and or spent the time exploring the area.
Any advice on locations around Madoc?
Just check the Mindat site and search for that area, then start knocking on doors.
Great finds.
More to come.
Thought i would share this jeff, the " Albino Apatite " ....i discovered with a black light, has some fluorescence to it. From that spot. Up the hill a bit however. Just thought i would share my cool discovery
I will have to try that out, my UV light is underpowered and outdated!
beautiful and thanks for sharing! looks like Mr Caver have packed some weight ;)
Don't tell him that, he's sensitive ; )
Gorgeous stuff .
Agreed
bruh....you can't show us all the huge calcite and fluorite finds AND THEN NOT SHOW US ANY OF THE FLUORESCENCE AND PHOSPHORESCENCE!!
I never even thought to check it for fluorescents, it's right outside and I will check it now. If I ever get a good UV light I will do a video on fluorescents.
@@OffTheBeatenPathCrystals Looks like you already got a pretty nice 365 light? That should work well enough for the calcite phosphorescence. You mean shortwave? Engenious Designs has some nice 255nm LED lights...
