think it shows that there are so many ways to be inspired - and Michelle is SO inspiring! lol! Thanks so much for watching!
So sad to hear that Michelle will not post those favourites this year (though she surely earned a break!). But SUCH a lovely idea of you and you co-conspirators to step in!!! Both for Michelle AND for us. Thank you, Ardyth et al. And enjoy the videos while you enjoy peace and quiet, cocoa and cookies, Michelle! Kind regards from Germany, Nicola

Great ideas and pretty cards! Thank you for sharing, from 🇨🇦Calgary, Alberta🇨🇦
Thanks so much!
These are beautiful cards! I like the colors you used. You give such great ideas and instructions on how to use stuff we have
Thank you so much!
Great cards! The listing step of your LIMES is so helpful when I’m looking at inspiration and deciding whether I should buy the new product being showcased. I get distracted by the overall look of the finished card and think I need the new stamp or die, but actually it’s elements of the color, layout, or technique that I’m drawn to.
I find that too - thanks so much for watching!
I love these ideas, Ardyth. I struggle with design and the LIMES method will be helpful. Thank you!
Glad you find it helpful! Thanks so much for watching!
Love to see your limes process in action! These are all such pretty cards, and a terrific reminder that other than traditional colors are wonderful for holiday cards!🧑🏼🎨😀

Hi from New Zealand. limes - inspiration even time thank you Ardyth .
Thanks for watching!
I love the colors you used and how you did the shading on the ornaments! They all look so great! I am just starting out and having a little trouble with color blending. I hope with more practice I will get better at it. Thank you for explaining your processes. It's very helpful.
Ink blending definitely takes practice and experimentation in decided what paper and tools work best for you. My best advice is just to keep adding ink, layering it and layering it - the wetter the paper the better it will blend. Thanks for watching!
When I started out I found using Bristol smooth paper and rounded foam blenders helped a lot. It made a big difference when colouring with alcohol markers too.
@@cherilynn1557 Thank you! I appreciate the advice! 😀
@@ardyth Thank you Ardyth!

Well, you’ve convinced me to buy a gel press! And you often introduce me to new products. Your short using Lindy’s Magic powders wowed me. Thank you for the thought, time and effort you put into you presentations.
Thanks so much for this lovely comment!
👍✌️🙏❤️✨
Thanks!
Which did is that ‘Christmas’ die at 7:47? You said it was Hero Arts, but I don’t think it is. I e looked closely at the letters r and s, and they don’t match up to the hero arts one. I love the color scheme and layouts you used!
LOL! It is definitely Hero Arts, but it's retired. The name was MERRY CHRISTMAS SCRIPT Stamp & Cut - 085700924412 Thanks for watching!
I cannot believe how long I waited to get the sticky mat from altenew and right after I did, waffleflower came out with this!!! I like that it’s bigger. The altenew on sticks great, but it’s small. I can set it on my glass or a silicone mat and use it, but I love the bigger size that waffleflower has. So the big question Ardyth, how does it compare to the altenew sticky mat? I value your opinions greatly! Thank you!
The largest WaffleFlower mat is 8.5x8.5, the Altenew one is 7.5x7.5, so not much that bigger. They are both excellent products, and I use them pretty interchangeably.
@@ardyth oh, I didn’t realize they were only an inch different in size! That makes me feel better. I keep thinking the altenew one is smaller. Great! I appreciate the information and your opinions. I value what you say very much since I don’t have the time to use the products often enough myself, you save me a lot of time and money by sharing your experiences. Thank you Ardyth!
Beautiful cards. Can i ask what the bauble die is?
Thanks so much! That's just a circle die. The toppers are from A Jillian Vance Design Vintage Ornaments (linked in the description). Thanks for watching!
Very beautiful card on the ink blend using the gel plate! I have that embossing folder too. I still haven’t tried the gel plate technique. Do you like it better doing one color at a time or is it about the same? I have honestly ink blended less than a dozen times!!! Can you believe that?! I’m still a beginner after 20+years!!! Lol
I find that the gel plate is the fastest and easiest, and probably least messy way to get a lot of colour onto white cardstock. Thanks for watching, Denise!
@@ardyth do you like doing one color at a time better or all colors on the plate at once? I know you have experimented with both techniques. Thank you for great videos! You are exceptionally talented and I love you watch how effortlessly you produce such beautiful cards. That is what experience can do. Someday I hope to have far less weight of responsibility on my shoulders and more time to enjoy life and the only thing I enjoy doing, making cards. But for now, I have a very difficult life that consumes all my strength, time and energy. Making cards is often not enjoyable because I’m rushed to make one. But watching you gives me hope that someday soon I can truly enjoy it.
@@dizzinese It's definitely easier to keep the colours more separate if I do them one at a time (or do centre first then do top and bottom at the same time). I hope that things get easier for you, Denise, so you have more time to enjoy your card making!
@@ardyth thank you Ardyth. I really hope so too. My body can’t handle all the work anymore.
Is there a trick to getting that very delicate snowflake out of the die without it tearing, please?
I actually did not have a problem with that one, but I know what you mean. I would suggest using a piercing tool through ALL the vent holes before trying to grab it and pull it from the die. You could also try putting a full back sticky note on, to help 'pull' it out while adding some structure. There may be others who know other tricks.
@@ardyth Great ideas! Thank you! I struggle working with delicate dies or ink blending with a light hand. ❤️
You done an Amazing job!! Love all your cards
Thanks for watching!
