I don't need to add another high priced exotic food into my diet. I will stick with walnuts, pecans, pumpkin seeds, hazel nuts, brazil nuts, and once a week or every two weeks, crunchy peanut butter. Most likely you don't need it either. It's probably not going to make a big dent in your fat levels or your health. The quality of your overall diet will likely have a greater effect on fat levels and your health than a single specific exotic food.

What you said about people who are metabolically unhealthy being overburdened with ROS really hit home. I’ve been metabolically unhealthy for essentially all of my 49 years- and I don’t know why- and it’s exhausting. It spiraled into so many more miserable, life sucking health problems. My family was very healthy. We never ate junk food, or even bought store bought cookies or birthday cakes. The rest of my family is all lean and can eat whatever they want, my dad and brother were famous for being built like Popeye but eating everything in sight. But I became obsessed with exercise and started starving myself when I was ~13 because I was already getting inexplicably chubby- and I was always sick. It’s been a dam rough 35 years. I’m making strides but it feels too late. I’m all out of steam.

However, macadamia nuts are higher in saturated fat which does not work well for my biochemistry. I'll stick with almonds at $4 per pound vs macadamia nuts at $15 per pound. Far too many people continue to vote against their own best interests, your country should have universal health care, no more crushing medical debt. If everyone paid a nominal monthly fee, as in well under $100 it would cover everything for everyone, all tests, x-rays, surgeries, emergency care, extended hospital care. The population would be healthier, less stressed, less homeless.

I stopped taking my Arginine supplement last year because I got pretty bad skin cancer, and there was an awful lot of literature implicating Arginine as a substance that cancer likes to use to replicate and spread... this kinda freaked me out because I wondered if I had been feeding the cancer cells on my nose... I thank God that I found a very good surgeon and my face looks almost normal... but I now live in fear of having it return! I never leave my home without proper covering on my arms and wear a ball cap + sunglasses >> people don't realize that you can get cancer in your eyes also! I have a "nevus" on my left retina, that they are watching... Yes, I loved the sun! I was always outside > I would intentionally sit in the sun to heal my eczema which worked so well > even the derm docs know about that!

And there starts, the madness where everyone will order Sacha inchi and then the people who have used it for hundreds of years will struggle to get it because prices will go insane and growing practices will be come exploitive.
It’s funny because sacha inchi was popular about 10-12 years ago. I found them very delicious but most of the ones being sold were chocolate covered so higher sugar.

…or they will use it like the use the other industries which feed their family , its grown in the Caribbean and South America, this makes these areas more valuable as demand is increased and they are able to profit and grow…the Caribbean knows how to export … this will become like the coffee farms the banana farms and other things that make these places appreciated worldwide

Is this an infomercial for Brass Roots brand? Because their seeds don’t say they’re vegan and don’t say the source of the “natural flavor” (probably not vegan), which of course is okay for non-vegans but it’s odd that a healthy nut snack would not be. And it contains avocado oil which adds to the calories. I ordered another brand and will season them myself.

I mainly eat meat most of the year but maybe 2 times a year I do eat pistachios. I guess my body craves something that is in them. In fact I seem to crave them in autumn. But if I don't eat too many of them I can tolerate them. Otherwise its meat only! Meat, eggs, liver, a little fruit. But a big important thing about the pistachios is they are not run on shared equipment! So they are safe to eat. With food allergies you have to be careful.

In the health world we often hear that it's nearly always better to eat the whole food rather than a processed product of the food. I know oils have been demonized in recent history... but is the oil better than the whole nut (seed) or perhaps a gelatanized powder form? What would be the best benefit? I would think the powder into a protein drink or in a recipe like a low carb pad Thai, etc? I hope to get an answer from you, followed you for a long time and I'm looking to go back to KETO or perhaps low carb.

I bought the lightly sea salted brass roots food and I have to say.. It's so lightly salted that you can't even taste the salt. I have 5 lbs or 80 days worth of nasty tasting nut. For $70 you would think they would try to put the salt flavor on it. Now I don't like wasting money so I will consume 1 oz per day for the next 80 days and I'll try the small varsity pack and see what I like. I like sea salt, but this product is a fail for me. To Be Continued...
