Did you have to tape/mask before you engraved?
Not for this one, since it's finished. I just wiped it off. Also, I hate masking so I avoid it as much as possible. haha.
Lisa. How do you keep your glowforge so clean. What is your secret. Thanks for all you do.
Ha! I clean it a couple times a week. I also make sure not to let the camera too close to show how gross it is!
Do you need to finish it with anything like a food grade oil?
I like to do a bit of cutting board oil, yes!
Where do you buy the boards?
This one was from a homegoods, but I get a lot from Webstaurant store or JDS
where do you get your cutting boards from?
A mix of places. Homegoods had some great ones this year. I also order from Webstaurant when they have boards in stock.
What is glowforge premium?
They have a subscription part of the program that will allow you to have more features as they come out with it. So far it's very basic but I'm optimistic that they will add super cool stuff soon.
What’s the name of the program in the computer
Silhouette Studio. I use the Business Edition upgrade to allow me to export as SVG :)
Oh oh! What was the reason your GF was not working today? How did you fix it?
It was stuck on homing. I turned off the machine, restarted my computer, and brought the laser arm to line up under the camera and it worked!
