I'll never ride without a new bike being wrapped 1st. I'm loyal to Invis just because they have treated me awesome as a customer since 2019. Even though I live in Texas, and they are based out of England, they always respond within a day if it's after hours. When I've needed a custom cut or have questions they've been awesome with personal customerservice! On a side note, Invis is a bit thicker than Ride Wrap and self-heals after a tear. I've never gotten through to the frame on any crash.
Both company make good product for sure, and actually was chatting with both brands, but it made more sense for me to work with RideWrap, as they are based in Whistler and have had a very very fast growth. I know people love their brand too, so that made me want to partner with them even more. They also do all Propain Bikes which is key.@@justsayin3600

Rather than using automotive film, we've engineered our film specifically for use on bikes. I wanted to demo a Propain during NW Tune Up (the 1st one) but they didn't have size XL in the fleet, it was already out on the trails and I don't remember seeing them there last year. RideWrap is amazing but it is really not that easy to install yourself. Be prepared and make sure to be patient. I did my bike last year and it took me like 4 to 6 hours in total to make a clean installation. Make sure to watch a lot of guide and have a clean environment. Congrats on the new bike and collab!
Patience is the name of the game and the process always gets easier the more you do it! We have plenty of instructional videos on our channel to help guide customers through the install process 😁

I use a couple a layers of electrical tape under zip ties and contact points when I mount my fenders. I've purchased used bikes that they didn't do that and the rub marks go down to the aluminum.

Why didn't you use a coil shock for this build? Your fork is more burly than your last tyee but your shock is lighter duty. Also - does the Tyee have tube-in-tube cable routing?
Good point. I will swap the shock too on my other Tyee for an air shock. It will be a lighter build (lighter wheels). Yes the Tyee has some guides for the cable rooting. Pretty easy.

Hey Remy. I never figured out why you don't run any OneUp tool / CO2 / tireplugs in your steerer tube since you use the OneUp threaded top cap. Is it because you carry your tools in your Camelback?
Do you get a loud clap when you bottom out the fork? I had to add spacers between the crown on my Z1 and the mudhugger to prevent that from happening. It sounded like a small fire cracker every time 🎉

Honestly It's not as bad as people make it out to be, replacing outer cables Is no different, On my bike, its almost easier as dont have to faff with the clamping system or plugs. Theres no real reason to be taking it apart all the time aswell so makes it take 5mins longer every 6-12 months depending on conditions, You just Remove clamps from bars
Cool one! Just be careful Rémy when you install your grips, crankset axle, shock bushings, etc... hitting them with your palm can break your scaphoid. The kind of stupid injury that shouldn't happen in a workshop. Use a rubber hammer instead ;) Cheers Buddy, and take care!

I had an older full suspension bike, it was heavy. Plus, the overall design wasn't great - a lot of expended energy. Newer design of componets, fame, etc., I'm sure make it a lot easier/nicer.
Recently got a Tyee using Remy's code 👍 Also got RideWrap for it...ran into issues applying the wrap on toptube and downtube as Propain apply their decals on top of the final paint coat...talked to Propain and they recommend putting the decals on top of the RideWrap... Fair play to Propain, they sent out decals FOC. Needed to recorder the toptube and downtube wrap from RideWrap (tip keep the install sheet so if you crash damage any wrap you can order individual sections) However, replacement RideWrap came damaged, creased and dimpled....contacted RideWrap who recommended putting it on anyway as creases would smooth out which they did, but dimples are still there...contacted RideWrap again and no reply...so long story short, i know that the wrap will get damaged but I've a brand new bike with damaged RideWrap and RideWrap stopped replying to emails.... Product 10/10, Aftersales 1/10

Why don’t you use the oneup EDC tools in your steerer? Do you like the threaded top cap over a traditional top cap and star nut?

It really isn't a big deal. Mine works flawlessly with stock headset. PITA to install correctly but once correct it works well
