Always high quality content. I am glad to hear you commenting because it brings more useful tips we can miss just by just watching like in the case of using plane for flames instead of cylinder. Happy new year
I appreciate that! Happy New Year!
AWRSOME TRICKS THANK FOR THE GREAT CONTENT
thank you!
Nice beautiful.
Thank you!
Great video👌🏽 Hoy many tris should a environment asset have ?
It depends on the game and mostly the platform. The main thing to look into is to not have unnecessary geometry which doesn't add anything to the model. So use enough geometry to make the model look good.
When I aply emissive channel while using your F'n "stylized material" it turns everything white on a texture. What can cause a problem??
Create a new layer at the top and set emissive to 0 and then add another layer on top with your emissive
Why straighteninh uvs if it adds distortion?
Should only do it if it's not going to add too much distortion.
Also adding to that, it allows you to texture easier if you want to make a straight line across the model for example.
Thanks for tutorial! I’ve noticed that Orb_Rock_Details brush does not deform the overall shape of your bricks and keeps them the same but when I try to do the same, it deforms my bricks a little bit. How did you make your brush not to deform your mesh?
hmm, does your mesh have enough polys? That could be it.
@@3dextrude Well, I guess it does because I see the details but the overall shape is slightly deformed. I’m just gonna try to add the same amount of polys as you did in video. Thanks anyway!
@@3dextrude Hey may I ask you one more question? What is your technique for sculpting stylized bricks? I’ve been trying to sculpt the brick while watching your video as a reference but couldn’t achieve any decent result. Do you have to apply any settings to brushes in order to get similar results or there are other factors that play the key role?
What is Texel density ?? It is just increase the UV resolution or something like this ?? Nice vid as well
Textile Density is how many pixels per unit fit on one texture tile. For example 512 textile density fits 512 pixels per unit in a texture square.
Having matching textile density on every piece makes sure that the scale of the object will be uniform. Instead of having one piece hires, then one low textile density so it'll be low res.
Мне кажется он русский
I hate the fact that you don't have a version that's slower so I'll be able to follow you as a tutorial to learn.....
Looks like it’s for paladins lol
