I had some noise when not usimg its default power supply, and I don‘t think power over USB is the best solution. The channel with the line6 helix was super noisy while i was powering the Bluebox via the USB outlet on the Cioks DC7. Had that solved though. The preamps sound fine to me, although I didn‘t AB them against the RME preamps or anything alike.
I want to start my dawless setup for live performances with low cost obsoleted vintage retro equipment, low fi, preferably with midi rather than sync or cv / gate, using drum machine, groove boxes, phrase sampler, korg monotron, volca, casio vl1, midi sequencer, guitar pedals, half rack midi modules etc, maybe a nintendo with the DS10 a casio sk1 etc, what do you recommend? I'm digressing? is it a lot of G.A.S gear syndrom acquisition?
Hey man, nice content! I'm working on an expert roundup article at this moment and I wonder if you would be interested to be featured in one of our upcoming articles along with other electronic live musician on Good Noise website. Let me know if that sounds like something you may be up to! Thanks

@@allreitzreserved Ah yes noisy power 😢😢😢 Thanks for your reply Bro
mounting desk idea is genius! I have similar problems with space on the desk versus a lot of gears:) I see you dealt with that very neatly
