    As a Blazers fan it's sad to see the end of an era in the rip city. Dame will be always remembered as the GOAT blazer and one of the most beloved and fun players to watch. Long live to the GOAT Dame DOLLA and I hope he wins at least 2 in Miami!

    That play against the OKC is 1 of the best shots I've ever seen. If u see his face when the shot goes up then in... man that's fire.

    Very well put together synopsis.
    Lillard and Curry are the 2 best PG's of the era 14'-, much like Nash and CP3 were the best from 05'-13'. Dame and Steph ushered in the long ball era where the 3pt shot was the first option.
    (15) 50+ point games (2 in playoffs - 17 total)
    (8) of the top-100 all-time highest Hollinger Game scores (78th, 62nd, 56th, 47th, 39thst, 27th, 12th, and 5th best game ever) AND...Highest playoff game Hollinger game score (1st)
    (2) of the 7 All-time NBA playoff series-ending game-winning shots in NBA history are by DAMIAN LILLARD ( M. Jordan 2, D. Lillard 2, J. Stockton 1, R. Sampson 1, K. Leonard 1)
    (1) of 8 NBA history all-time with at least (5) 50-point games in a season. (W. Chamberlain, K. Bryant, J. Harden, M. Jordan, R. Barry, K. Abdul-Jabbar, E. Baylor, and D. Lillard)
    (1) of 3 NBA players all-time to start their careers with 9 straight season of at least 1,500 points and 400 assists (Oscar Robertson, Lebron James, Damian Lillard)
    Only player in NBA history with multiple games of at least 60 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists
    Damian owns the MLK Jr. Day NBA scoring record of 61pts. Ironic.
    DAME scoring 50 points the day Kobe passes is poetic. KOBE was the KING of the 50 point game

    I want to see a Dame Harden Embiid big three might actually work if Harden and Embiid let Dame take over in the sixth or seventh game of a series.

    Imagine having a guy like THAT on your team, and you dont make it right by his loyalty because you want a marginally better deal.
    Then people get complaining that other players are not loyal...

    • @johndebono1870
      @johndebono1870 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well that and it's not like Dame just gave up on the team. Portland wants to rebuild and that's fair, but they should have traded him when it was clear they were prioritizing the draft.
      Now him demanding Miami and nowhere else is counter productive, I'll give them that but it does seem unfair to paint Lillard as the bad guy.

    • @felipecouto1102
      @felipecouto1102 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@johndebono1870 Its not like other teams can give them a significantly better package. The most they can get is incremental, and f*cking up your relationship with the most loyal player of your franchise for an incremental value will only prove to others that there's no point in being loyal

      If he wanted to be gone so badly, he shouldn't have signed the max to stay in Portland.

      @@richborn6700 He wanted to give the team another chance, you're tripping if you think he hates there. The team was the one who CHOSE to begin tanking and rebuilding halfway through the contract.

      They rewarded his loyalty with all that crazy money without asking, they owe him nothing. He would have been gone sooner if the money wasn't there.

    The Blazers really have had Dame's whole career to try something and they never could get another legit star. I dont blame Lillard, although there are always 2 sides to a coin.

    Dude can't be blamed for asking out. As you guys have seen in this video, the Blazers were TRASH and never had a chance to begin with. This ain't the 2011 Dallas Mavericks bruh, Dame was never given the perfect supporting cast to pull off a miracle season. Glad he's with Giannis who is hungry asf even after already getting a ring.

    I think Miami feels like they’re gonna end up with their version of Hornacek, Perry and Lang for Dame. I just don’t think Portland’s gonna do it.
    That’s not fair to the Trail Blazers. They shouldn’t do it. Dame is one of best player in the league no doubt and they have treated Dame great, but for them to take pennies on the dollar, I just think you can’t run your organization like that. ‘Hey Dame, we want to do right by you, but we want to do right by our organization, too.’”
    And they need to leverage the fact that he loves basketball. I’m sure in December he’ll get traded, but I don’t see it before the [season].
