    Thanks for the. great video. I purchased my first set of hearing aids 10 months ago. I have a limited budget and purchased the Sony CRE-C10. I’ve been very happy with them overall. They are very comfortable and most of the time I forget that I even have them in. Support from Sony has been excellent. I did have a problem with the right hearing aid not connecting properly. I called Sony and was walked through a process to reset the app and the hearing aids themselves. Unfortunately the process did not work. The agent took the Serial Number from the original box to check warranty status. Sony sent me a new pair (as they are still under warranty). They send you a return label to ship the old ones back to them. The agent was very helpful, pleasant and made the whole process quick and easy. Very happy with the purchase and Sony customer service. PS Taking the heating test and setup process is pretty easy. The fine tuning is almost like having an assistant as you can select options like “too dull” or the sound is “too sharp” or speech is “incomprehensible”. These will offer you multiple solutions that you can skip or apply to your hearing profile.

      Wow! Thanks for taking time to share. Glad to hear that your CRE C10s are working well and that they did well on the customer service side. 💪

    Great video! Would you recommend the Starkey iic or Phonak Virgo Titanium? In general which one do you fell performs the best? Thanks.

    Great video! Getting a iic next week. I like the Signia rechargeable but a couple of hearing aide places have said that the quality/performance can't compare to Oticon and Starkey. Would you say the Signia are equal in performance? If I don't get Signia I'm leaning towards Starkey since I've been told they make the best iic product as you mentioned.

      The Signia devices should be equally programmable and generally just as advanced. The big difference is the custom fit to your canal. A custom like Oticon and Starkey can really seal your ear and might give your professional more control. All are respectable options with great tech. Have you worn hearing aids before?

    Truly, I am an unlucky person on this earth. I need a hearing aid. But I can't buy it now I'm in exile in Germany. Even though I asked the government, they told me that my insurance doesn't cover it. It really hurt me. I couldn't go to school. I cut myself off from people. I have no money to buy it. I wanted to work and they denied me permission. How can I buy it?😥😥😥. My hearing level is 40 decibels in my right ear. I only want one. Can anyone help me??

    Just purchased AirPod Pro 2, followed your video, everything worked fine until I looked for transparency mode as you suggested and I couldn't find it. I called Apple and they said they couldn't give me any guidance regarding the hearing aide part that I would have to go to an audiologist! Any suggestions? Thanks.

      You find the transparency mode in the system menu under your air pods pro selection. Use the advance selection by choosing to the right and you will find more areas of optimization

    Why do they sell only in pairs (that seems to be the case)? People often only have a problem in one ear.

    • @HearSoundly
      @HearSoundly  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Prescription brands can sell singles but all leading OTC brands sell in pairs. Most audiologists recommend a pair unless there is truly no loss in one ear.

      @@HearSoundly Thanks very much for the reply. Much appreciated.
      But that is the case with me. I wonder how many others it is true for also - you would know better than me.
      So, it seems clear to me that it is really a profit or manufacturing issue. No judgement there.

    • @HearSoundly
      @HearSoundly  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@peterdowney1492 My guess is that it mostly comes down to manufacturing issues as you said. The cases and devices are made in pairs and likely doing singles would make their inventory/packaging more complex. Still, I get the frustration and we've certainly had this chat with others. One brand that's interesting is that Eargo. Technically you can use both sides interchangeably if you re-take the test. So in theory you could buy a pair and use the second as a backup. Not perfect but it's something. Have a great day!

      A common feeling! You could try Sony CRE-C10 or Eargo. People will have a very hard time noticing them unless they look right down your ear.

    I have the Lyric and it’s completely devoid of low frequencies and life like tonality. Everything sounds completely sterile. Otherwise the convenience factor is 100.
