YIKES...I ordered my Starkey Signature Series Hearing Aids last Friday but the doctor never mentioned that I needed to have a Mold done to fit my ears.
Like many other electronic devices with a built in battery, the battery will definitely have a lifespan. Feel free to reach out via email or phone call and chat with us to get an answer to that question! Be sure to subscribe for more content! th-cam.com/users/Ziphearing?sub_confirmaton=1
They are very noticable and nearly totally block the earcanal. Doesn't that cause problems with wax and moisture in the ears? I tried the much less visible singnia silks but didn't like the okklusion they caused and also wasn't content with them in noisy situations. Not having bluetooth- connectivity was also a downside for me. I chose the smallest rechargeable behind the ear hearing aid and am happy with it.
You could certainly go for the even less noticeable IIC invisible-in-canal style, but in day-to-day use even these larger CICs tend to blend in with the dark shadow created by the ear canal, making them less noticeable. If occlusion is a problem you'd probably want to go to receiver-in-canal style devices that won't fit inside the ear.
I just got the over the ear genesis ai. I do not like over the ear. And the Bluetooth audio for phone calls and watching my tablet is horrible quality. So bad you cant stand to listen to it. And you cant make it sound better.iys just garbage no matter what. The wires and unit is always in the way of my hat and glasses and i cant get longer wires. So, i want to try the CIC rechargeable.
Hey there! Having the whole device in the ear canal certainly has benefits, and the lack of discomfort behind the ear is one of them! Be sure to head on over to the website to check out the signature series and maybe even place an order! www.ziphearing.com/starkey-signature-series?

What about battery life over time, is this a problem for the rechargeable CIC… is this area covered in the 5 year warranty?
