    I’ve had the Trident but swapped it for the Tiger Sport so comfortable and you don’t get the wind blast as with the Trident and more legroom on the Tiger but both bikes very nice.

    Tiger is by far the best for long commutes
    Best mpg
    Windscreen
    Best suspension
    Best seating arrangement
    In town commuting, Trident by far.

    I have to agree with Marc on this one. The Tiger 660 definitely does it all. Having taken one across the UK covering 300+ miles per day, it's some of the most fun I've had on a mid-range bike. The 660 engine has plenty to offer even on the motorways, and it's just as comfy as the bigger Tigers. Prior to riding it I'd have probably said the Daytona, but knowing what the Tiger 660 can do and how it handles, that's the one!

      agree but wish the seating was lower; or adjustible. the pannier seat is as hi as the tiger GT !

      @@ed.t.hansen6499 I'm pretty sure there would be a height reduction kit available for the 660. Always worth an ask.

    I rode the TS660 yesterday and agree it's all you need. I love the Tripple Tribute but doing insurance quotes (comp protected NC no voluntary excess), I came up with the following; TS660 £350, Tribute £700 😮, Standard Trident £250 compared to my Tuono 660 Factory £500. The Daytona is not for me having owned and loved a Daytona 675 and trying to move away from Sports bikes at 62 yes old. Great review BTW 👏 😮

    I own the Trident and can happily say it will do everything and is super fun. A bit windy on motorways etc but round the lanes and pressing on it's awesome!

    IMO most people have just one bike and the Tiger 660 with a few performance upgrades is the best of the three. If you can have a second bike I think you should just upgrade straight away to the Street triple 765RS.
    I have a deposit in on the new Tiger 800 sport and think this bike with a few performance upgrades will be amazing. The jury is still out until I take the 800 for a good long test ride as to whether I'll pull the trigger or not. I currently own a Tiger 660 with the performance upgrades and love it ❤ It's the most underrated bike on the road and it never leaves me wanting. But I've been telling Triumph to up the horses and they have answered with the 800 ❤

    Thoroughly impressed with these bikes. I rode the tiger sport and Daytona, and went with the Daytona myself. Amazing platform! Love the smoothness. And great build quality for the price

    I have a trident 660, it's a fun little scratcher, wants to be used quite aggressively and rewards you for it! I would trade it, if... They upped it with the Daytona engine, otherwise will hang onto it. 👍

    Having owned the Tiger sport, I now own the 900GT pro (what a brilliant bike) The 660 TS is a very good bike and admittedly built to a budget price. But its really let down with no cruise control option and budget suspension.
    I found the fork dive was bad especially on an uneven road surface when tackling twisties.
    If I'd kept the 660 I would have looked into fork spring and fork oil options.

      I agree that the forks are soft but test riders say not. I'm 5' 10" and find the screen causes a lot of buffeting if up. However it's a great bike and suits me perfectly, it's so user friendly and capable. I had to fit a USB socket on my bike - why wasn't it standard for a bike that might be used for touring?

    As the macho bearded one is having a hot flush about the marginal extra power of the sportsbike he would himself never consider owning something in this class. What a strange person to chose for this video.

    What planet are you on when you are suggesting that a Trident would be a good city bike? It’s about time you ‘professional’ bikers got out into the real world.

  • @Jason-hl8uj
    @Jason-hl8uj 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Daytona is a massive let down IMO. Not even close to the Aprilia RS & that's 3 years older. The Tiger sport, really nice bike to ride but absolutely pathetic base spec everything is an optional extra & no cruise control is ridiculous on a touring modern bike

    • @ashwinraggs4226
      @ashwinraggs4226 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Does price difference ever come in your mind ?

    • @Jason-hl8uj
      @Jason-hl8uj 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@ashwinraggs4226 No. Why? Because by the time you spec a Daytona with a quikshifter & any other colour except white it's basically the same price as an RS/Tuono which comes with QS & cruise control as standard. Daytona's power is less, torque almost identical but the RS handles much, much better.
      Triumph really dropped the ball on this one, the previous Daytona was an absolute weapon. They've placed this new model with a triple engine in the twin engine 600 ish mid weight market & it's not even the best bike available. RS & GSX-8R are far better

    • @ashwinraggs4226
      @ashwinraggs4226 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +8

      @@Jason-hl8uj That’s what I meant…but my perspective is different. With everything specced-up the Daytona is still a bit cheaper. Okay it probably doesn’t get the electronics of the Aprilia, but I don’t need them (one less failing system).
      Personally I’d choose the Daytona because of the triple-cylinder & better reliability over the Aprilia. See how many ppl have cried in the internet over the RS660’s issues. And I can live with a few less hp. Not a big deal for me…Most ppl won’t even notice that in real world riding…I’m not the one who reads a spec sheet & brags about stuff that I’d never use.
      In my opinion there is no one clear superior bike in this segment. People are gonna choose whatever they like in the end. And you guys need to stop this lame Daytona 675 comparison. They never said it’s a replacement for that bike.
      P.S: If I remember correctly the Tuono 660 doesn’t get stuff like the QS or electronics as standard like the RS660. When you spec it up, its price gets higher than the Daytona or even the RS660 :p
