Does anyone know whether the TR4500 can duplex-scan (both sides)??? I can't find the settings.
Does is scan multiple double sided papers without having to convert them first into one-sided documents or without having to do it one by one in the flat bed scanner by flipping the paper over?

Any advice on fixing a failed to scan error. I have 20 pages to scan. It has gotten as far as 19 pages but on average it about 6 pages. I need the 20 pages together

You don't. I just did this with my PC to Printer over network.
I just did this without a phone I had to download a program from canon from windows store. Switch from scan to something called adf I think to scan file to computer the way from this video. I haven’t seen one video from the way I did it but I believe my way was more traditional from using canon software and scanning and saving from pc. Not sure yet how to scan from printer itself and save files onto pc. Whenever I scan from the glass I use windows scan and save it there.

It does scan through PC. I just did this on my Windows 10 over wifi network.

No it will scan one side only you have to scan other side yourself.
Also, does it work with cardstock paper?

How do we scan or print two-sided?
You can go to setting and look for 2 sided printing. For scanning you need to do it manually.

It has no option for that you have to do manualy

I bought this printer th-cam.com/users/postUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 to replace an aging HP printer. It is just used for casual home printing so I don't need anything more. Installation went easily though the HP Smart Printing doesn't work well with our laptops - having to select the actual device. Will have to see how the HP Instant Ink program works out. Plus haven't been able to set up printing from smartphone yet - either direct or WiFi
Canon is the worst printer brand i have ever encountered - don't make my mistake twice , HP HP HP
