That is possible dear just like scanning using my phone. However, I just tried my phone to scan documents and not on laptop. Laptop has windows scanner installed on all windows 10. Try to use it.

Hi, if your last use was scanning then you don't need to repeat the steps. You can set it once. Just make sure the screen details on your printer says scanning

Hi, if you want wireless. You need to download Canon Inkjet Selphie App. Connect your phone and your printer through same wifi connection

It isn’t a duplex printer so it can’t print both sides. However, you can do it manually.

Canon works well in both photos and texts print qualities. I compared it with my Epson printer, Epson is good but when closely compare, you could see Canon has a bright color while Epson is a little faded when printing in standard quality.
Both are durable, but I enjoyed my Canon often.
