the b1 wings were similar in function to the f-14. Used spoilers instead of ailerons and had full span flaps / slats. I'd love to see a mix & approach with full span flaps. I bet the approach speed would drop quite a bit.

Really nice presentation with the wings back. A while back you showed the connector got hot and melted, what was your resolution? Was it just amp draw, bad connector, what happened.
So the issue was the xt90 to ec5 not good to mix connections with the heavy amp draw from 2 Twin 70mms. It's a high demand on. The lipo. I put an ec5 to ec5 on it. It still gets hot but no melty melt 😆
@@RCPlaneReviewer eaay enough resolution. I wonder if it would be worth doing an ec5 as150 adapter and change out the xt 90 all together. I use tge 150 in all m y high amp draw birds, mostly 12s but under the circumstances it might be worth it.
Does the B1 require mods to fly well in wing sweep mode. Haven't flown mine yet and I'm reading all kind of issues with stab not having enough authority and so on. Is that a hobby Eagle flight controller you have in there Looking forward to hearing from you.

My CG was Factory as far back as I could get it, flaps were factory too!

I appreciate what electric has done for the hobby, but I'd love to see that with some gas turbines!
HOW ABOUT SWEEPING THE WINGS COMING OUT FROM A TURN INTO A DIVE, JUST SAYING THE SPEED MIGHT BE HIGHER.
