Making an Imperial Star Wars Crest from Aluminum for a Light Saber Display Holder

  • Sand casting of an Imperial / Galactic Empire Star Wars Crest for building a Light Saber Holder. The sand is 190 mesh petrobond. The pattern was made from a 3D printed pattern that was prepped with primer and painted.

      Thank you so much. Its going to be a light saber holder for my son. I hope it turns out, I am not that great with wood, which some of it will be.

    Really nice cast. I hadn't thought of HDD casings before but got a few I was going to weigh in. So will put them to one side.

      Thank you. So far the HDD cases have worked pretty good for me. When you try them let me know what you think compared to other alloys you have worked with.
