I’m daily driving an iPhone SE 1st gen and it actually holds up still very well considering it’s age I am getting an iPhone XS tomorrow and probably gonna upgrade to at least an iPhone 14 pro in 1-2 years
I the jump from the iPhone 7/7 Plus and even 8/8plus to the iPhone X was so big, that apple may never make a phone with a similar or bigger jump again and never mind the iPhone XS, even the iPhone X is worth buying. Especially if you keep it at whatever ios it's at and don't bother updating it. It'll last you a good few years. Good gift for a parent or an aunt or uncle that isn't good with technology either. They'll have a good phone that's also an affordable phone. I can probably pick up a brand new sealed iPhone X 256gb for under £150
i got one exactly at that price. The phone rocks then after that I then sold it for 150 again and added 10 more usd to upgrade to the iPhone Xs. The chance was a steal tbh.
would you recommend I buy a iPhone XS brand new for $230? Because I’ve never had an iPhone and my budget is $270 so it will be enough for the phone + all accessories, I will probably use this phone for about 2 years (till end of iOS 18 when it stops getting updates) so do you think it’s worth it

I think the iPhone X is really lacking. The same chipset as the iPhone 8 is very lagging behind. The iPhone xr and xs are good choices, especially the iPhone XS

It may get 1 or 2 more updates and if not you’re still getting years of security updates and it makes sense for a great 2nd phone but the 12 is the best choice for budget premium phones at this price point still plenty of updates and a newer design.

I got an Xs for only $120 , with 512 GB storage too. Was lady owned so it was still in pristine condition ❤
