Thank you for the transparency! Living in aus around 3 months as well from Ireland and feeling the same way! Not sure this will be my future home so I may look at some European countries closer to home instead! 👏🏻
For sure - a lot of people have said this to be fair. Issue we have is that we’re not near an Aldi, they don’t deliver and we don’t have a car to get there and back with shopping! We are victims of our location🥲
Honest. Is good. If you stay or. Go back enjoy while in Australia. If you do go back you will miss Australia. That’s a fact trust me. There are a lot off people who moved here from the uk Sweden Germany and a lot other country’s they said they will go back to Europe. Think long and hard do your home work if you want to live here for good. It’s not easy have a good job and you will be fine.
The weather is way better than any Europe country the beaches are amazing. It’s very clean in Australia. The life style is heaven I live on the Gold Coast also know ass surface paradise it’s heaven my front door is the beach.
As a mid twenty yr old living for fun, sure it’ll be nice but try and plan for the future and buy a home so you actually have somewhere to live when you’re retired, your opinion will change.
Thoughts on moving to Australia, settling in and making a nice friend group? Been in Melbourne almost 9 months now and think it’s very hard to find a good group of lads to hang out with that aren’t into just going out & drinking 🤨😅
Yeah I’ve heard similar to be fair but I was lucky that I had friends over here. That said, I haven’t actually made many new friends since I’ve been here. Like I said in the video though, I do think you could like minded people through a club of some description!
If you work to live - Sydney is not for you. Coffee, beach, fitness, layback... then you discover that everything Becomes Expensive! Only you become cheaper. Yes, cost of living. To lay back you have to move to Adelaide. And, yes, if you moved to Australia from UK/Ireland - legally its the same as you died. Even in modern world of online communication.
Given the current socio-economic climate that we’re in and the stance of Starbucks on several pressing international matters around the globe, I’d have to give the unconventional answer here and say…small cafes
Pros and cons, as an Aussie I have no interest in selling this country to anyone in fact like a lot of my countrymen I am getting a little bit annoyed at the number of people who rock up here then whinge on social media about how things arent living up to their expectations.. My advice is save yourself some money either stay in your own country or come here on a tourist visa (same as I would if I ever visited Ireland). I assume that you actually got out of Sydney and saw the rest of Australia otherwise the calls about what its like to live here are pretty much a guess. Seriously Sydney and Melbourne are the 2 most expensive places in the country to live and it is only going to get worse. The current govts out of control immigration policy is allowing a flood of people in who are swamping the infrastucture, worsening the housing crisis and pushing up the prices especially in the 2 biggets cities where they all want to live. I also assume that you have been granted your PR because if not the choice to live here permanently isnt actually an option at least not until you get one..
Bloody hell mate have a schooner and chill out. Just because you'd only go as a tourist to other places don't think Australians aren't flooding the planet on working holiday visas as well. Irish/British/everyone else make Sydney/Melbourne great
@SeanCullenFitness ignore this joker mate. He's buying the shit that some people are selling that working holiday visas are the reasons for rent being expensive. Chances are this bloke lives in the outskirts of Brisbane and is on the dole.
Clearly you never went +10km out of the city circle where there is morbid obesity, crime, people who can't afford to live. Coogee is basically an elitist posh area that most Sydney people hate. You never went to real Sydney. You basically should have called the video pros and cons of living in the Eastern suburbs of Sydney. 😅
Who are you living for your self or for others family is a poor excuse and friends back home. It’s what you want family friends can come to see you or you can go see them. So family and friends is a poor excaus. I always tell migrants who come to Australia.
Drinking game: Take a shot every time I say “the weather”.
I gotta stop drinking…

This is the single most accurate comment I’ve ever read.
Love the diverse videos. Anyone can make a 10 minute video of barbell rows but hearing your perspective on different topics is more interesting.
Thanks mate - I reckon a 10 minute video on barbell rows would actually be difficult!😂 Appreciate that though my man
Looking forward to see an in depth cost of living video. What other countries are you considering moving to?
Keep up the good work!
Thank you - most likely destination at the minute is Dubai mate!
Sydneysider here, brilliantly composed video mate and well articulated ! All the best legend
Thank you mate!

100% agree Emily - anywhere with a somewhat acceptable time difference!
@@SeanCullenFitnessdidn’t you check the time difference before moving? If so I am curious why did u move?
Try to shop at ALDI if you can, less variety but prices are fair.

I don’t disagree but life is for living
you're meant to take the sticker off the glass dish before you use it.
Thanks for the tip!
What about the spiders? I wanna move to Aus but terrified of them 😂
To be fair - I’ve only seen 2 in the 9 months I’ve been here!
Men used to go to war, I drink iced coffee hahahhaha

Hahaha straight facts
So, if you had to pick now, small cafes or Starbucks?

Literally just basing the video on my experience in Sydney so far

too many foreigners bringing their religious problems with them
Are you referring to me with this? Would love to know what religious ideologies I’m showcasing here
