Reconnected brain to the left leg yesterday, did 400 reps with a large gym ball with the leg on top. Did endurance walking yesterday with the leg almost dragging. Today after the workout was done 500 almost perfect steps. The leg worked great, thanks, you did well!

Please do exercises for wheelchair boumd; I had s massive stroke 2 years ago, I am still improvimg, especially wih a lot of exerciises and healthy eating. I have made major strides with my own exercise program lernedd from all the different therapists I have seen.My shoulder is evem less sublexed. It really took a lot of time and exercise, and I am very excited and thankful. I move my arm better but many times have to adjust the exercises due to inability to lift arms fully. I enjoy yout videos. They are very helpful and apply to me amd my problems. Thanks. I will never take the mechanics of the body for granted again, I'm doing good in spite of being written off for survival.

Hello, here we have to work on the nerve pathway starting from the neck down to the shoulder to the scapula. The scapula is the nerve center next to the leg and you need to release the hips in all directions.
The addition of a 1 kg dumbbell ON HAND will help in the overall process, in fact all the movements must be very delicate and delicate and this is what the nerves like delicate movements
    You won't believe it,
I discovered that brushing your teeth and gently shaking your head up will successfully release the neck
I found myself with a kg weight on my hand solving puzzles when standing my body is bent with rotational movements of the hand and rotational movements of the body and thank God.
it works we will emphasize subtle movements it is critical to solveg puzzles for many hours in front of a laptop and the body is bent forward to the computer screen

go more by time. Do it with good quality movement as many times as you are able. Remember, you are trying to retrain the brain. I always go back to the analogy of how many hours we spend in school growing up. Anytime you are in learning mode, repetition is key. I hope this helps. :)

Just curious, how long does it take to recover mobility after stroke. Is it months, is it years, or is it never?
There are thousands of videos on TH-cam and none are talking about this. My legs feel like 2 bags of sand. I exercise daily, month after month and see no improvement.

I had an ischemic stroke 5 years ago. I wished that I had found your TH-cam channel earlier as I had received a lot of "advice" from doctors and physiotherapists, often unhelpful and conflicting. I ended up trying various things on my own on a trial and error basis to find the best solution for me. Needless to say, everything that you have talk about in your videos are accurate, very detailed and very helpful. It would have saved me a lot of time had I seen them before. Many thanks for doing all these videos and I look forward to future videos.

Movement is a very key ingredient to stroke recovery. My therapist has told me I probably go overboard but it has helped. I have gone from wheelchair to Walker to Kane have started to walk without kane this has all taken place in under four years after major stroke. My therapist told me from the beginning it would take time & a lot of work but I am starting to see the payoff so don't give in to weariness. I have found these sights to be very helpful in sharing with others in recovery. My continued prayers shall be with you.

When I sit down I feel a dragging/heavy sensation from my upper abdomen down to my legs. It's like an anvil for a couple of seconds. Very unsettling sensation. Makes me feel as if my lower half won't move until I get up and move about what could be causing this? I have very bad health anxiety and GAD.

I thank you. I suffered a stroke in Oct and sometimes lately felt the heavy leg? I was concerned because I've been doing my exercises and I've also changed my diet I thought I had another stroke... I remember feeling the heavy legs when I was first admitted into the hospital and when they let me out I felt better no heavy legs what's going on with that?

My affected arm is swollen everyday. What exercises should I do to reduce the swelling. I do arm exercises using 2lb dumbbell and theraband .

How can I do this exercise when I have no feeling /control. It seems every one control their leg after stroke where does it leave me I’m not someone different than other stroke survivors. This video upsets me too much. It made feel more helpless hopeless💔🥀

I really like this video, I’m dealing with a heavy left leg.. But can you please spend more time on the first exercise with showing us how it’s done? I felt like the first one was kinda fast. But I loved this! Helped a lot!!!! Thank you

My foot won't point down, ever again. I have a charcot foot and before I had my stroke I could move my foot like everyone else. Then I broke my leg, just above the ankle and my foot was fused to my leg. Then I had a stroke, so I didn't have a drop foot, yet I still drag my foot, though I am trying to pick the foot up. Now my tip of my toes drag on the ground. I will try these exercises though. I have to work on a bed but it should still work. I'm tired of my leg feeling heavy.

Why its feeling havy doc. because of paralysis and the muscles are not working proper. So the musles are weak.
