Will this help with not getting into gear? I changed my cmc and slave because It was super hard to getting into 1-2nd gear and then at one point I couldn’t put it in any gear it helped after switched them both now I feel it coming back and someone is telling me to align the cmc
Yo I’m having the same problem as well and it’s only when it’s hot outside after awhile of driving it will not let me get into 1st at all and I can’t figure out the problem if I replace both cmc and slave and adjust will it fix it cause I’m lost idk if my trannys messed up or fluid is old or something any help would be appreciated
Yo I followed the guide, but I’m having one issue. When I spin the nut on the pushrod to adjust it the whole rod spins. I tried grabbing it with some pliers to keep it still but no bueno
You have to adjust it inside the cabin to were you like it....I had to play with it like 3 or 4 times to were I like it. I have it to were you pull of the ground like 2 inches and it engages....the further IN ON THE TOP sensor WITH THE PIG TAIL the closer to the floor your engagement is.....if that makes sense. I like to lift the ebrake and throw it in gear as I'm holding the pedal with my hand and lift till it engages barley to see were its at....be careful if you perform this step.
I can't turn the CMC rod left or right(it's k tuned) and because of that I have a lot of clutch Pedal play and because of that the fork is barely moving
I had to adjust my buddy's a while back and it wouldn't move back or forth. I used vise grips pliers to be able to adjust it. I forced it but I was able to adjust it correctly. He wasn't able to get into 1st an or 2nd gear...now no more issues....
Hey man I recently installed the em1 cmc and a type s slave car felt better then it ever has for 3 days now the clutch is slipping. Could this be an improper adjustment? Clutch also hasn’t been replaced in 5 years so could it actually just be a bad clutch ?
I would adjust it first. You have to adjust it then try it out. Your going to do it a couple of times before you get it we're you want it.....what about the grab point? Is it instant as soon as you come off the ground or some slack till it grabs?
@@megaShredder3 I have it set to we're you lift and it doesn't grab till you come up an inch or 2 ....that way it has enough pedal travel to let the clutch fully disengage
The longer the rod, the higher the engagement point. The smaller the rod the shorter the engagement. You want it to engage or grab point about 1 or 2 inches when you release the clutch...you want it longer so you can make sure it completely releases the clutch from the flywheel and grab the next gear. This helps with grinds into gears
@@mysticcrushgamers6736same maybe need to change the whole master cylinder it will fix for sure. Im going to change mine im getting little bit grind in 3rd and 4th gear just a little bit
I've owned my 09 civic si since brand new. This was going to be my weekend project, but when i got down there, the cylinder threads were already positioned in your final position!!! 🤔🤔
@@559powerscape I did a minor adjustment and exposed 1 more line of thread on the cylinder. Slight difference in shifting. smoother and feels great! Have not yet tried high rpm 1st to 2nd yet. haha Thank you for your video.
Thanks George.
Thank you for your support, I'm Glad this helped!

Yeah this should help. You will have to adjust it a few times till you feel it just right.

Is the adjustment the same if I have a stage 4 clutch ?
Yes sir

@@559powerscape alright I'll try this, thanks 😁.
At 2:50 you back that nut off, are you then turning the shaft or rod counter clockwise?
