I so wish we had an Azure drop near-by. It’s almost 3 hours to nearest one. 🌺 If you use a Sharpie on the jar, isopropyl alcohol will wipe it right off. 😊 I have a hand vacuum sealer, it works great! You’ll feel it when it’s done.
I’m super blessed to have an azure drop out in the country less than 10 minutes from my house! I’m loving the hand jar sealer so far, in fact my husband prefers it!

how do u go about vac sealing your powders eg spicers , was told to use a cup cake wrapper when using a jar to stop clogging the machine but i want to buy my spicers in bulk and vac into about 50gram lots in vac bags
You can! I don't worry if a seal fails on dry goods and we still eat the item, they do tend to be more prone to unsealing as I also keep rings on the jars. Years and years ago I never used anything on my spices or dehydrated foods. Back then the jar sealer didn't exist and as long as I rotated everything was still fine.
You can but it’s not needed if you are vac sealing the jar. I use OA in jars with freeze dried food but the OA seals the lid on its own so no vac sealing needed.

You can use a paper towel folded and it will work similar to a cupcake wrapper in a jar.
Great video. Can you use oxygen absorbers with spices? I get a lot of failed seals with with the jar attachment.
