I am loving your voice! It is engaging to listen to and I can tell you are passionate about this. No wonder you are successful in this business! I am doing my research - starting with your video series!
@tom boy Thank you! Yes, cars are a great space for recording. Just make sure you have some soft surfaces around the mic so the sound isn't bouncing back too badly. Otherwise, it's a great, small contained space!
Thanks! When you're first starting, you should open yourself up to any genre because you don't know what your voice is most suited for yet. After a few bookings, you should see a pattern of what you're getting cast for!
Hello Bailey. Thank you very much for your videos. You've helped so much many of us. I had a question. I'm albanian but i can read 3 languages. English, italian and spanish. Is there any problem if i read languages in which i'm not native?
Thanks! You can read in any language that you're comfortable. However, the author may want a more native sounding accent than you can give in some languages. But feel free to audition away and see what you get!
You know, I only record for an hour at a time. I won't do more than 3 hours a day, which I think is typical for most narrators. Vocal rest is important, so be sure you have enough time to spread out your recording time when you sign a contract!

Thanks so much! I hope you enjoy the process
I'm well informed in this video. You're so cool.
Aww, thanks!

Wonder of video.🌹
Great video! One thing to note, You only get royalties for 7 years from the published date of the audiobook.
I didn't know that. Thanks for letting us all know!

I'd love to know how you protect your voice, and not get a sore throat from narrating after an hour or so.
