@@BaileyVarness I would love to find a way for ACX to accept me, due to the fact that I live in Central America and they won't let me create an account.
Thank GOD FOR YOU... I’m super new and doing all my research first so I know what I’m getting myself into. I’ve watched hours of ACX videos and they are so sporadic and out of order. I’m the type that I need to know the Step by Step the process in order to build a routine. I’m so glad that I stopped the video I was watching and did another search for what is the process of book narration. Looked through all the posts and selected yours. Phew- I am taking notes and following all your lessons and steps. Thank you for listing each segment, and the best thing is... they aren’t 20-57min long.... Quick and to the point... Great job and THANK YOU SO MUCH... I AM A SUBSCRIBER.
Such a gem! You’re so awesome for creating these videos. Here it is 2021 and I’m just getting into this field and your videos are the only videos on TH-cam that I’ve found to be straight to the point, clean, and precise. Thank you so much! So helpful. 💛💛💛💛
Just tuning in for the first time, and am excited to start experimenting with some narration. I am playlisting your series, as it is the sort of content that our community would very much appreciate.
Oh yeah! I remember someone also saying that FTX stands for Field Training eXercises?! You all love that X thing!!! That's probably exactly where this came from. Thanks for sharing!
im a newbie in search of knowledge, thank you for these videos. i have a question maybe you can help answer. i want to start sending out auditions but many authors names are hard to pronounce and the last thing i want to do is mess up the authors name. any suggestions? thank you!
Thanks! You shouldn't have to say an author's name in an audition. They just want to hear you read the book script. If you get the job, once you're producing and need to record the name, write them a polite note asking them exactly how they pronounce their name so that you can get it right. They usually really appreciate you asking and your attention to detail!
I would write to them directly and ask them what platform they plan to use in your country and when it will be available. Hopefully it will be ready soon!
This lady is fantastic. Most videos on VO are boring, but she keeps it livel and interesti9ng. I imagine that her audiobooks are amazing.
Thanks so much!!! What a kind thing to say!

Do we need an Author Account to sign up as a narrator on ACX.com or will a customer Amazon account also work?
It's all done through your regular Amazon customer account. You don't have to have an author one.

@@BaileyVarness thank you so much, that was my thought...Appreciate your time!
Do you need to have a business license, etc., to get started with ACX?
Nope! You're essentially an independent contractor
I live in a third world country and they won't let me sign up for a narrator account on ACX :(
Anyone have suggestions?
