If you have a lot of pink or teal on the outside of your units I would pick the background of the color you have least on the units so that they do not disappear. Or you can just unstitch and move the color of the pink/teal in the middle of your units you have less of and pick your favorite background. Looks great Kelly~ Martha

Now that I’ve found your channel’s inspiring tutorials, I wish I was still subscribed to the Sew Sampler boxes. Fig Tree fabrics are my favorite and I think the Peach Preserves quilt will be lovely no matter which color you choose. I look forward to seeing the finished quilt.
Well, if you’re going to use that pretty pink and green backing with no teal in it, I think you would have to go pink on the front. That teal is gorgeous, but I don’t like it with that red. I know that Lori holt is doing a lot of red and teal and so is Pat Sloan but it’s not pretty. One of the outstanding things about this month so sampler is that it does have that pretty pink background and I think that’s what makes that Quilt only my Opinion. Love your channel love your TH-cam’s. Love you you are just a natural.
Team Teal. My only concern is that I noticed some light teal/blue/? on one side of some of the sections. Can you put them in the middle of the block so they don't touch? No matter which you use, it will be a pretty quilt! So will your sample block!
I had to laugh at your comment about using your longarm as an extra table. 😂😂 I have two cutting stations, two sewing tables, along with two ironing stations, yet I STILL use that longarm for settin fabric on. 😆 Question, did you use an accuquilt to cut your diamond strips? If so which one did you use? I have the big studio accuquilt but I’m really thinking of getting the motorized one. I’m still on the fence.
My longarm holds all my quilt tops mostly flat until Im ready for them, lol and the occasional design board etc. It really is tetrus when Im filming. I have not used the accuquilt in years. It probably would have been faster. This was a lot of cutting around that ruler... but not terrible-Just a tad slower. -Kelly

I like the teal, but if you put the diamonds (that you have ready) with the teal stripe against your teal background they won't show. If you are careful and put the stripe toward the inside I think you will be okay.

I think the teal competes with the blocks. If it was two shades lighter, I'd go with teal. It's too bright and doesn't allow the blocks to shine.
I think since only 3 of the strips are teal I bet I can nest them;) but great advice!
