I use a pressing bar when pressing open the seams. Works great. But I have the wool bar that is set on a wood base. So the clapper is built in. Tell us about that blue design board that you used. Looks like a carpet square.

I am not buying any more expensive irons. They all seem to fail and leak eventually. I do not want to use a water bottle and add another step. I want steam. Have read so many posts swearing by Black and Decker . The price is right and they seem to last a long time. Even if they don’t replacing it every few years is better than an expensive one.

I bought one of those roller to press open seams. I haven’t tried it yet

I have a Rowenta too and love it. I tried a LauraStar at a quilt shop and found it little too heavy and cumbersome to maneuver with that thicker cord. But I appreciated being able to try it out in person.

I really like the Golden Rod box. Is there a way I can order the box? I tried contacting the company, but must be doing someone wro g bc I have not received a response. Any suggestions?

I have that exact same pressing bar. Corey Yoder reviewed it sometime last year I think. I have used the heck out of it. You have those great clappers your husband made so you don't need the one with the clapper bottom. Love your videos Thanks for posting them

I bought the Gypsy Quilter 12” one that has a clapper on the bottom. I’m new to pressing seams open and like this better than using nothing 😊

What clappers are you using? And what is the gray half circle you are using for pressing?

I love this box! I really love that the smaller projects have everything you need to do the entire project! The larger project with the hearts is so sweet! I could see adding borders to make it larger for a baby quilt! I can’t wait for your sew along!❤

The video is incorrect. When you start cutting the white fabric you said you make them 2 1/2" by 4 and 2 1/2" squares. They should be 2 1/4" by 4" and 2 1/4" squares correct?

The fabric selection in this box is very pretty. One suggestion…When you are trying to show a white on white print, if you place a piece of black construction paper behind it, the print will show up very well!

I love this Cupid Box so much! Mine arrived yesterday and I cut it out today. I can't wait to sew it. I hope you make the pattern. I did not cut my arrow prints because I'm not sure I want them to point the direction on the pattern. I'd like to see what you do!

Can you show a photo of how you use a needle minder? I seriously have no idea how to implement it. I'm not crazy about the pattern, so I will probably just add this to my Valentine's fabric collection.

I am disappointed in the box. The fabric is pretty, but I have plenty of cards and needle minders. I make my own labels. I would prefer to have a full layer cake to make a larger quilt.

I like how your machine is silent while you’re sewing. Not many people do that on you tube videos.
