I can see this being great for alternating warp colours!

Thank you for your video, a clear explanation. My question is what happens now, once you have beamed the warp, and are threading the heddle, you you will have two threads together instead of one together in the cross. Does it matter which of the two threads you thread first? Thank you.

Thank you for watching! It doesn't matter which of the two threads is threaded first, and the same is true for more than two ends. I've warped as many as 8 ends at a time, all different colors, and threaded them in random order.

I keep twisting one thread around the other. When you change hands, do you switch the position of each thread? The one in the inside comes to the outside position

Hi Camilo, Don't worry about keeping the threads in perfect order while you're winding. If you hold the threads and use your hands as demonstrated, the order will straighten out when you have it on the loom. Thanks for watching!

Thanks so much for the great video. I do have a question. What happens when your colour pattern calls for an odd number? I am working with 4 colours. The pattern calls for 2 colours 21 times at the start, 19 times at the end and 5 and 3 times in the middle. Would I cut and tie the colours at the top (half a complete loop)? Or I guess i could tie it off (like you did at the bottom) on an unused peg at the top? Would that work? and when I need the colour again I'd have to start at the top and count down the board? I'm over thinking it all and getting confused. Any help would be greatly appreciated... Thanks 🙂

I think you'll be less confused if you cut and tie at the top. Hope that helps!
