    My son has wanted a bonsai for ages and we drove to Herons today to find a good beginner tree (they have so many!)
    We were priveleged to be assisted by Tibor who actually repotted our choice into an oval pot my son wanted. He made our already pretty beginner Ficus look like a prize winning display! Very memorable visit, thanks so much Tibor :D
    Wonderfully educational and friendly nursery making bonsai really accessible, highly recommended!

    A friend at our bonsai club had an old toy chevy truck crashed into a tree in a landscape.
    Another was a little farm fence with a tire swing hanging from a "large" branch. It took the imagination to the old days when life was simple. Thank you for sharing your "main man" with us. Very nice.

    • @regiodeurse6513
      @regiodeurse6513 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yes the fence size is out of proportion. without it the trees look bigger and nicer. the branch sizes turn to twigs compared to the much thicker fence posts. I also dislike the akadama. The bare soil mix looks much more natural in between the moss. Would prefer if he only highlighted that little path with akadama Edit:seeing it after it was wetted down the akadama looks okay though

    As a landscape architect, I am always fascinated with the miniature landscapes that one can create by utisilizing bonsai techniques. I ust to grow many of my own tree's, shapping them, as I seen them in my mind, then I started going to a bonsi cloub, and then they said that oak tree must be shaped in this style, to be recongnized by the bonsi society, I had my oak tree for over 15yrs, and I let them restyle my creation, that was a big mistake, because they cut to hard, and to many old brashes, and killed my very beautiful tree, and finnished with that club, to many rules, well listerning to this very beautiful man in this video, he explains it is all about the individuals creation, he put it spot on, as it was meant to be in the very begaining, he explained using the word, to commercial, that might have been in one of his other videos, then he said we need to create natural, its a art form, as he put it, I truly like this man very much, becuase he his not a cloused book, like some people.
