It’s an amazing place . I went in 2022 when visiting my daughter in DC. Interesting bus journey through a rough area and then the beauty of the arboretum
Thank you Jella (Leatherback) I have never been to the US National Bonsai & Penjing Muesem. The founder of the bonsai club I am in was Warren Hill he was a former curator of this museum. He passed away last week. I never had the chance to meet Warren he became ill before I joined the club, I am eternally grateful to him for creating our club and bringing bonsai to my corner of the world before I ever knew about it. I am very lucky to be taught by Warren's former students.
Hey Jelle Very impressive and inspiring. I hope I can make it there one day. It would be fantastic! So many thanks to you for the compilation of these impressions. 👍🏻
... it seems it would have been a beautiful memorial to the people of Japan and their fallen and the families surrounding Hiroshima versus a gift... I also found it very odd to be honest as the donating of the other trees is already so generous and seems to have shown forgiveness in itself. We make the Japanese tourist leave Pearl Harbor Arizona memorial each year during the day of the attack instead of coming together... 😔 Very beautiful trees, thank you for showing us!
Thank you Jelle for this video. 🙏 I have seen several TH-cam tours of the US National B&P Museum and this one is clearly my favorite! 👌❤️
