The front rings have a top and a bottom. It looked like you had the first set upside down, and that's why they didn't fit right. I had that same issue when I installed mine, and after flipping them it fit perfectly.
Great video. I followed your method of removing the front rings. Flawless and quick. Watch several others struggle . Starting with one of the middle rings was key. Bravo !
removing the front rings was an absolute bitch-and-a-half. 😂 broke almost every single connector piece on the chrome grill rings. (i didn’t use his tutorial and wish i did)
You could also just remove the front bumper for easy access to the clips. I took apart everything from the front bumper and painted it black. No superglue needed :D
@KevG Thanks! Also, not sure why my initial comment didn't post, but if you want to add the OEM badges to the description, I just bought a set from the stealer. 8W0-071-804 Rear S4 8W0-071-802 Rear Rings 8W0-071-805 Front S4 8W0-071-801 Front Rings
I’m very hesitant to do that to my rear rings on my 2019 Q8 sLine prestige. I am concerned because of the upper portion because it fits into a plastic piece. If you look at the picture of the rear of a Q8, you’ll see what I mean.
I just got a S5 black on black. I want to change from black logo and badges to chrome since there's too much black. I wonder if the eBay chrome logos/badges are just as good quality and shine as the OEMs.
Any type of addiciton adhesive I can buy which won't f*ck up my paint work? I bought the black audi badge for my a3, but the top middle part is already seperating from the car.
I ended up going OEM for my B9.5 S4 from Europrice, was a bit pricey at $400 but, I got the OEM front and rear Audi/S4 black out badges. Front install took all of a minute and a half with a pry tool. Front S4 badge, I slide my pinkie from the front under the original S4 badge and pressed up on the tab while pulling on it and it popped right out. New one popped right in. For the least amount of hassel, OEM is always the way to go!
I disagree. eBay stores have always treated me very well. I got a RS style honeycomb grill for my A4 that was $160 with tax. That’s half the price of the same OEM grills and it came with a gloss black logo among other emblems. There’s really no need to blow hundreds for a couple of plastic pieces that 3rd party companies will rip the dimensions and 3D print for way cheaper.

Good job! I used the matte black ones. Are those rings gloss black? I couldn’t tell from the video.
I’ve just bought a black edition A4 and the black rings / badging doesn’t come as standard it’s an optional extra

Appreciate it! Glad to help🤘🏼

What rear spoiler and diffuser are you running? Looks sick!
Thanks a lot! Lowkick carbon spoiler from carbon imports and the diffuser also from carbon imports

@@boxacle good info thank you!
Where did you order your black badges though that have good quality bro ??
Honestly eBay
How about window trims, can I get black trim? Now I have chrome😢
It comes with black optic package but mine doesn’t have that.
Use braided fishing line cuts right through

Look at reviews before you buy since there seems to be a lot of vendors. I’m happy with the quality of mine
Looks amazing!! Nice job
Thanks a lot🤘🏼
I plan on getting an s4 or s5 shoutout to the algorithm
Let’s gooooo
What does the item called to remove the glue or sticky tape after removing the logo. Thanks
I would search rubber wheel drill attachment. I think I linked one in description
Degreaser

3M automotive adhesive remover is a lot easier than using the rubber wheel.
The rear looks awesome, but the front... black on black, looks like a mess IMO.
Hmm.. not sure there’s a better way to match though
@@KevG yeah... I know. B9.5 has a better way - stock silver grill and black badge.
so now if i dont have any buffing tools. then what?
I did this to my q2, a week later I reversed it back to the original silver 😑 my opinion the silver looks better, my car colour is Daytona Grey.
I have a black on black S5. I'll get the logo and badges changed to chrome. Too much black otherwise.
Where did you get the badges from?
ebay
Looks great! 🔥
Thanks a lot! Subtle upgrade but it makes a huge difference for sure
Have you got the part number of the emblems you bought? Looking to do the same to mine
I actually don’t… I found most the eBay ones will be the same, just double check the sizing and measurements

Silicone adhesive much better, flexible and doesn’t murder the plastic.
Why didn’t you just put the new emblem on the old glue?
Old adhesive was shot. Almost impossible to remove the emblem and have anything left
Thanks..I'll just have a shop do it
Pretty annoying that the black optics package does not include black badges, front rear, or fender inlays.
Anytime 😊
Did the difficult one perfectly and the easy one horribly 🙃
got to love ebay fitment
Lol right
nice! Ya'll didn't ruin the ring bezels on the front grill removing the rings. Video from other dude in Europe botched his shit lol.
It’s very easy to😅
You put the front rings upside down, thats why it didnt fit
🤔
I only paid $25 on eBay
JUST USE GOO GONE AND DONT DAMAGE YOUR PAINT....DIP S
@4:37 To love somebodyyyyyy 🎤 #KeithSweat j/k
