Hi, love your channel. I was watching another of your videos on gauge clusters. I have a 2003 GTX 4 Tec and I want to get rid of the burnt LCD cover. Great instructive video you have. My question is how do I get to the gauge cluster. I have taken out all of the screws holding the black plastic backing to the cowl but it won't come off. Any tricks would be appreciated. I consider myself fairly mechanically inclined but I don't want to snap anything off.
If its the same as mine, Get a little soapy water, spray it around the perimeter of the cluster, then pull directly toward you as you sit on the machine, it is a rubber grommet that fits very snug and kind of glues itself to the cluster.
An 04 GTX limited should be a 215, so it would be close to the same performance, a GTX is a 3 seater so there might be a little more weight there, but it should be very comparable... For now. I'm going to do some upgrades to my rxp at some point if I can ever get the time
I have one rxp 215.. 2006...So fast.. So nice.... Nice video.. From Brazil, congrats ✌️✌️
Soap worked great, thank you.
Awesome, glad it worked out!
